You will follow one of the very picturesque roads of Austria with unforgettable views of magnificent Alpine nature. You will admire landscapes and colours of fabulous Hallstatt and definitely will be charmed by this spectacular town. It will be not possible to leave without making pictures on the wedding bridge of a white-snow Ort castle. These must-to-see places will help you discovering a delicate soul, a rich story and a natural beauty of the Austrian lake region.

Choose at least 24 hour before tour departure an option with free hotel pick-up, which starts approx. 45 min prior to departure.
Please note that you will cover approx. 600 km. by motorway and Alpine roads at this day. It is approx. 7,5 hours drive with short breaks. You will spend approx. 20 minutes in Ort castle, max. 3 hours in Hallstatt, 15 minutes in Traunkirchen, 2 stops on the highway for coffee break.
Since most places don’t accept cards in Hallstatt, we advise you to bring some cash for boats and street food, as well as 50-cent coins for the toilets.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR SKYWALK VISITORS Skywalk lift began extensive renovation works and will remain in operation until 31 August 2025. Pease note: Skywalk viewpoint is no longer barrier-free accessible. Wheelchairs and pushchairs must be parked at the valley station and there are many steps to go from moutaint station to Skywalk view point. The Skywalk lift will be closed for renovation from Septemeber 2025 to June 2026

5.00Bring cash. Sophia was an excellent tour guide. She shared interesting stories and tidbits. She had a positive attitude. Was very approachable and friendly. Very knowledgeable. It was a nice touch to hand out salt to each guest and ask about how their experience was on the trip. She was a wonderful tour guide.

3.00The Best thing about this tour was our guide, Alexander. He was humorous, informative, and did his best to make this all day trip fascinating. He was truly amazing. Unfortunately, the sites themselves were letdowns. We felt some of the stops were little more than tourist traps used to give our driver time to rest as required by law. Prices were high because they are visited by tourists. Hallstadtt itself was a letdown with many of the restaurants and stores closed when we were there. Frankly, I would not recommend the tour for the 13 hours it took and the cost. However, once again, our guide Alexander was the sole highlight of the tour. If he is available on any other tours, grab him !!

5.00Our trip was wonderful. Before the trip, I was nervous about doing this tour with a walker. But it turns out I had nothing to worry about. Our bus driver helped me with my walker, even helping me fix it. Our guide, Sofia, was very knowledge, friendly, and accommodating. I would highly recommend this tour to others, even those with limited mobility -- we greatly enjoyed our Hallstatt trip!

5.00What a wonderful day trip to the stunning Alps and the utterly beautiful Hallstatt! The scenery was absolutely breathtaking — the kind of place that makes your camera work overtime. We were incredibly lucky to have Lydia as our guide for the day. She was knowledgeable, engaging, and full of fascinating facts, not just about Hallstatt but also about Vienna as we made our way into the Alps. Her enthusiasm made the journey fly by. A special mention also to our driver, who got us there and back safely and was every inch the professional throughout the day. Navigating those long alpine routes looked effortless in his hands, which made the journey all the more relaxing. What we especially appreciated was how well Lydia read the group. On the journey home, after a full and very long day (and as many of us were quietly snoozing!), she remained just as professional, delivering information thoughtfully and at just the right pace. This is truly an incredible part of the world to visit, and we would highly recommend this tour to anyone. A fantastic experience from start to finish!
