Experience the magic of Edinburgh with our fun Potter-head guide, and see the places that inspired JK Rowling to create her wizarding universe. Then immerse yourself in over 100 amazing tricks and illusions at the city's most magical attraction! And with one of the city's best views!
Starting on The Royal Mile, see historic Waverley Station. and Edinburgh University Old College —a famous old campus that provided lots of inspiration for JK Rowling’s creations. Continue through the atmospheric Old Town, visiting Greyfriars Kirkyard to see Tom Riddle's Grave, and the Elephant Café where JK Rowling dreamed up Harry Potter's world!
Get amazing views of Edinburgh Castle on our way to Victoria Street—said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley. We finish near Edinburgh City Chambers to learn about JK Rowling’s impact on the city.
After the tour, you'll be given your tickets for the World of Illusions experience - 5 floors filled with tricks and fun things to do!

Edinburgh Waverley Station
We’ll stop at a great viewpoint to see the historical Waverley Train station, much used by JK Rowling and an inspiration for trains being an iconic part of a young wizard's journey.

5.00My family loved this experience. People should be aware that the tour is really JK Rowling centered and the stops are specific places that provided her inspiration. The tour guide was knowledgeable and made the tour an informative and fun experience.

He did an amazing job showing us the inspirational locations and areas connected to the books, while sharing interesting facts and stories along the way. His enthusiasm really brought the magic of Harry Potter to life. We highly recommend this tour to any Harry Potter fan visiting the area!

5.00Brillant tour. Our guide, Paul was very knowledgeable and included us muggles very well into the tour. I was distrubed when i heard about the grave of Thomas Riddle/Riddel where some potter fans dance on his grave and sprinkle glitter on it to ward of bad luck/eveil. I was truly distrubed by the fact. Poor man and his family. Anyhow very interesting tour. Paul was very good at remembering names. He included everyone equally and we got to taste bitter scotch beer. Yum!!!! Would highly recommend.
