Wire Pass is mainly a flat and narrow slot section in the Grand Staircase-Escalante. There is potential for amazing and soft color in the walls of Wire Pass and would be interesting for any photographer. Petroglyphs are located in this canyon and date back to 1000 AD. A great choice for young children due to the high canyon walls. This is a shared tour for up to 20 people.

Buckskin Gulch Tour - Vermilion CliffsBuckskin Gulch is located in the southern section of the Grand Staircase-Escalante and is possibly the world's longest slot canyon. Grand Circle Tours offers multiple tour options to explore the Buckskin and its tributaries for all skill levels and interests. This canyon is a major tributary of the Paria Canyon and to a lesser extent the Colorado River itself. These tours are available without a permit and can be booked on line via the website. When making a reservation please remember to include your preferred section of the Buckskin you are interested in. All tours require a $6 day use fee to be paid in cash at the trail head

My husband and I had a great experience. It made a huge difference navigating the canyon with a guide as we were able to enjoy the hike worry free. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and experienced.

Our guide Kyle Walker was terrific and we had a wonderful time. He was knowledgable, great personality and understood what we wanted to do - he made it happen for us.

This and another tour we took were amazing. Angie was a super guide. Very professional and knew not the trail and geology but the plants along the way.

We loved our hike at Wire Pass Slot Canyon with Angie. She was an excellent and informed guide. She shared information throughout our hike that made our trip educational as well as pleasant. She was wonderfully easy to talk with. We had to cut our hike short due to mud, but Angie drove us to a beautiful area of Grand Staircase Escalante, where we enjoyed information about the area as well as the air conditioning on a hot day. I highly recommend the experience!

Hiking Buckskin Gulch/Wire pass was a bucket list item and we loved it! Our guide George was fun and knowledgeable and we had a great time. Thanks! For sure will choose them again for more adventures in southern Utah.

We had an incredible hike in the slot canyons. Anne and Jim were very knowledgable and made the hike very enjoyable. We took many pictures and our guides helped make this an awesome trip.

Hiked Buckskin Gulch with Grand Circle Tours. Owner Kyle was most accommodating to our many questions. Our guide Angie was so informative and tailored the hike to our desires and skills. We learned so much, had an incredible hike and saw amazing natural rock formations. We could never had such an experience without a guide nor had been as confident with weather, flood, and navigation in the canyon. THANK YOU KYLE and ANGIE!!!
