Set off on a comfortable scenic shuttle tour to the majestic North Cape – a place that often leaves travelers quietly speechless, standing at the edge of Europe above the Arctic Ocean.
You travel deep into the Arctic, where weather can change quickly and dramatically. Guests are strongly advised to dress warmly and in layers, as much of the experience takes place outdoors in exposed Arctic conditions.
Along the way, we make one stop in the charming fishing village of Skarsvåg, known for its authentic coastal atmosphere and stunning Arctic surroundings, before continuing to the crown jewel – the North Cape plateau.
At the North Cape, you’ll have plenty of time to explore at your own pace. You may also choose to visit the visitor center if you wish, or stay outside enjoying the raw Arctic scenery.
Please note that entry to the visitor center is not included, giving you full flexibility. At the agreed time, we return together for a relaxed journey back.

2.00To start - we reserved a 9:00am time slot for this excursion, but received an email saying it had been moved to 10:15am a few weeks before our cruise. Fine. The meeting point was a nightmare. The guide at the meeting point didn't seem aware of the time changes we had been informed about prior, and we weren't the only excursion with adjusted departure times. Our bus driver was very friendly and the drive to North Cape was enjoyable. Arriving at North Cape - the weather was heavy rain and dense fog - the tour can't control that. However, the driver drops your group off and leaves to take other groups back - you are left to explore for 2 hours. The heavy rain eventually forced us into the visitors center which costs $36 USD per person just to enter. Keep this added cost in mind. During our cruise, this was the lowest value for money excursion and organization at the port left much to be desired.

3.00Very disappointing tour with Finnmark Adventure, for the North Cape tour bus. We had a 12:00 tour booked, buses showed up around 12:25 for tours starting at 11:45 and 12:00. Huge group of people were waiting for at least three time slots. No one checked our tickets to board, you just got on until no more people could fit. Then the extra people got off to try other buses. On the return, all 40 of us waited outside in the cold and extreme wind to not be late for our bus which was to leave at 3:25 and the bus showed up at 3:45. We couldn’t wait in another location became visiblity was so poor that day. So most all of us wasted 30 minutes waiting for the bus in the weather, at the end of the trip and at least 30 minutes at the beginning of the tour. Other buses drivers were checking on our group standing all huddled together waiting and the other bus drivers felt bad for us. There was no guide in our bus but the other bus had a guide? Our driver said they were trying something new with having no guide, so we would ride in silence. Also other buses had a video playing on the screens which was enjoyed on the other buses we heard from fellow travelers. On the plus side the driver drove well and the scenery was great! We had one quick stop to photograph 3 reindeer.

5.00We had a friendly and funny bus driver and on the way he stopped when there was a herd of reindeer on the side of the road. At the Northern Cape we got more than enough time to look around rn see everything. On the way back we went to a village

2.00No commentary from tour guide at all. Not your fault but lousy weather. No i struction on where to go and when.

1.00The bus did not have a guide so all ride in silence because it was late both picking us up at ship and museum we did not get but 1 other stop. Hidden details of cost of museum $36 euros pp, and it should have been cancelled for the weather as the fog was too dense to see anything. Left outside in freezing weather for 30 minutes waiting on late bus
