Our first stop will take place only 5kms from the city of Edinburgh where three engineering masterpieces await us. The bridges of the Forth are a place worth visiting. We can see an icon of Scotland and World Heritage by UNESCO - the Forth Bridge.
Dunkeld
Just an hour's journey we stop at the Hermit Forest to have the first contact with the nature of the Highlands. This beautiful forest will allow us to walk and breathe fresh air on a path that runs along the Braan River and that will lead us to discover a beautiful waterfall. Attentive, the salmon jump!
Blair Athol Distillery
This is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful distilleries in Scotland. Since 1798, the Blair Athol Distillery has distilled a Single Malt with an unparalleled wealth and character. We will take the opportunity to begin to know the culture that surrounds the Highlands, and what better way to do it than knowing the elaboration of the famous Scotch whiskey. During the visit we will enter the distillery where the guide will explain in Spanish the meaning that Whiskey has in the culture of this country, we will know the origins of the distilleries, we will learn about its preparation. Of course, they will have the opportunity to taste a variety of exquisite whiskeys if they wish.
Pitlochry
In a few minutes, we reach the charming little town of Pitlochry. A perfect example of Victorian architecture. In Pitlochry we will have time to regain strength, make a technical stop and walk through its streets if you prefer.
Inverness
After another hour and 30 minutes of traveling north, we reach the capital of the Highlands - the most renowned Inverness. Game of Thrones was inspired by this city to locate Winterfell on the map of Westeros, and Outlander traverses in its first scenes in Scotland the Inverness of 300 years ago. In Inverness we have free time to explore the city and find a place to eat. Visit the hill of the old castle and see the panoramic view from there offered by the city lying along the Ness River. The center of Inverness offers various establishments that serve food for all tastes and budgets.
Loch Ness
Who has never heard of Loch Ness and his monster? Let us give you the opportunity to find it. Just 25 minutes from the center of Inverness, we made the first afternoon visit in what is probably one of the most emblematic places of the tour - Loch Ness. Along its 37km, we will make three stops on its banks and stop to visit one of the most beautiful castles in Scotland and the most beautiful point of this lake - Urquhart Castle. We review certain anecdotes of the lake and talk about Nessie, the pet that inhabits these waters. Don't miss out!
Plockton
Plockton is known for its beauty and charm during the high season. It is a small fishing town of only 350 inhabitants that sits on the shores of the Carron marine lake. Already in the direction of the west coast and approaching the Isle of Skye, we make a couple of secret stops to enjoy the magical places that the route offers. The arrival in Plockton is scheduled in the middle of the afternoon around 7:00, where we will stay in a hotel both nights of the trip. Breakfast and other amenities such as WiFi, television and private ensuite bathroom are fully included.
The Haven Hotel, Plockton
Portree
After a restful night and an energetic breakfast, we make our first stop in Portree. Here we have free time to walk and get to know its picturesque bay. Just from above and in front of the supermarket, you get some beautiful photos of that bay. Take a walk and photograph your own postcard. Portree is a town where its population is multiplied by 30 during the summer months due to the presence of tourism. Take the opportunity to make a purchase if you need it, go to the supermarket, visit the tourist office or eat a snack for lunch.
The Old Man of Storr
Without a doubt, together with Quiraing, this is the most famous and visited path within the Isle of Skye and the reason for our first stop, a two-hour trekking in which we can enjoy incredible panoramic views and dreamlike photographs. This is an experience of those who remain in our retinas forever. Although the degree of difficulty of trekking is classified as average, it is advisable to wear suitable footwear for walking. It is also advisable to wear a raincoat or waterproof clothing. Although in English, in this link you can find the technical characteristics of this trekking. * The main objective of the tour is always trekking as the first option. However, on several occasions we vary the planning of the day due to climatic issues that may jeopardize the physical integrity or safety of our customers.
Kilt Rock
Another almost obligatory stop on this route that reveals the most beautiful places on the Isle of Skye is Kilt Rock. A few meters from the parking lot, we can see how the water jumps from more than 30 meters high directly over the sea through its basaltic rock cliffs in the shape of pillars. The Vikings gave the name of Staffin to this land inspired by the great pillars that were imposed on them as they approached the coast.
Quiraing
Without a doubt, along with Old Man of Storr, this is the other most famous and visited trail on the Isle of Skye. Here we can enjoy spectacular landscapes and photographs worthy of the best travel magazines. Although the degree of difficulty of trekking is classified as easy, it is advisable to wear suitable footwear for walking. It is also advisable to wear a raincoat or waterproof clothing. Although in English, in this link you can find the technical characteristics of this trekking. * The main objective of the tour is to always do the Old Man of Storr trekking as the first option; However, on several occasions we vary the planning of the day due to climatic issues that may jeopardize the physical integrity or safety of our customers. Our second attempt and always depending on the weather conditions is to perform the Quiraing trek.
Uig
Uig Hotel Restaurant: in the middle of the day, we make a technical stop to regain strength. But we don't do it anywhere. Take a seat, relax and enjoy this great place with amazing views while enjoying the local cuisine of the island. There are several options on the menu for all types of palates and budgets.
Neist Point
With our desire to show the best and most beautiful places of Skye to our clients, we move to the westernmost point of the island to know a magical place - The Neist Point Lighthouse. Enjoy the road until we reach the beginning of the road. As we move forward, enjoy how new landscapes are discovered on both sides of the route, how the vegetation changes in its path and how well decorated the valleys are with the island's architectural style of their own Skye houses. Once we arrive at our destination, an easy 20-minute path awaits us that leads us along the cliffs to the Neist lighthouse, active since 1909. But the most sought-after photos and cover of numerous magazines and postcards are only five parking minutes Let us show you the best of the place. Walk with our guides and don't miss any detail. We are certain that this day is unforgettable for our customers. Find out the detail of the Neist Point Lighthouse trekking
Eilean Donan Castle
Surely someone has seen this castle before, perhaps in a postcard, in the travel guide, an advertisement or in numerous films such as The Immortals, The Trap and James Bond. Just 15 minutes from Plockton we stop to visit the most photographed castle in Scotland. We look for different perspectives to get the best photo, we talk a little about its history and take time to visit it.
Fort Augustus
After crossing one of Scotland's prettiest valleys and returning to the shores of Loch Ness, we make a southbound turn and stop at Fort Augustus, just on the southern edge of the lake. There we make a stop to visit one of the most amazing Scottish engineering works, carried out by Scottish engineer Thomas Telford in 1822 - the Caledonian Canal sluice system, a fundamental part of the Great Glen. On a large number of occasions, our clients have the luck and the opportunity to see it work live and live, and we love to see them speechless when contemplating such an attraction. If there is no activity at the time of the stop, the guide explains in detail the operation of this work 200 years ago.
Glencoe National Nature Reserve
The history that surrounds this place makes the Glen Coe Valley a mandatory stop. Its majestic and deep valley whispers in the wind a gray and mysterious past with stories worth telling. Enjoy your story with the explanation of our guide. Meet the McDonalds rebel clan, immortalize the moment with your camera and be part of this unique scenario. Do not separate much from the parking lot, watch your back and be careful with who you ally! You are in Glen Coe!
Killin
Almost halfway between Skye and Edinburgh, we stopped to eat in. But we don't settle for stopping at any restaurant. We want you to enjoy your meal to the fullest, and that is why we have chosen this site. This is the place of a beautiful setting where the Dochart River makes a jump in the form of rapids to slide under a very narrow stone bridge built in 1760. We eat by the waterfall in the Falls of Dochart restaurant. Falls of Dochart Restaurant: as always, we consider finding quality restaurants that offer local food and budgets for all budgets. Take a seat, relax and enjoy this great place. Check out the restaurant in this link.
Stirling
If there is a place in the world where the story about the battles for independence between English and Scots is best told, that is undoubtedly Stirling. We take you to the hill where the impressive monument to the national hero William Wallace stands. From there, we can see the imposing Stirling Castle with the city lying at its feet. We also tell you how the battle won by Wallace was carried out in 1297, known as The Battle of the Stirling Bridge. We tell you the strategy of war and the Scottish picaresque, we talk about the current city and especially we enjoy this stop uninterruptedly since we are in a historical place full of meaning and also known as the Gate to the Highlands. Ask our guide and don't miss any detail!
The Kelpies & The Helix
Built just four years ago, this is our last stop before concluding this wonderful journey through the Highlands. These colossal monuments shaped like metal horses have quickly become one of the most visited tourist attractions in Scotland in recent years. Of course, we weren't going to leave you without knowing her and explaining her meaning.

The 3-day tour of the Isle of Skye & Highlands is, in my opinion, the best tour you can take in Scotland for the landscapes and excursions to be done, and if you are fortunate enough to do it with the guide RUTH, you will feel like you have experienced one of the best tours of your life.

It has been a pleasure to travel with Ruth!!! These landscapes, HIGH LAND, became exponentially better every day. Each stop was preceded by great music and a vivid description of the place and its history. Magical natural landscapes of great sensory richness. The history of these lands told by Ruth transports you to those times she describes; she just needs a big backpack to carry props, and she would be an extraordinary guide. A highly recommended trip even for the soul. It puts you to the test. Additionally, we were fortunate to stay right next to Eilean Donan Castle, making it a pleasure to take a stroll at sunset. The accommodation in a small, charming hotel. The breakfast will not leave you hungry. In summary, a recommended tour with this operator and its guide. It is a plus that it is in a minibus, so you feel like you are with family, especially if you coincide with such a pleasant group. P.S.: It is so good that you get on the bus in the rain and get off in the sun. A very lively person who is contagious. 100% recommended the trip to the Highlands of Scotland.

Unbeatable, due to the scenery, the trip, the accommodation, and ABOVE ALL THE GUIDE, RUTH. Ruth has not only been the guide; she has been like a friend. She is charismatic, friendly, and tells the story in such a way that you are captivated, wanting her to keep talking. She is an impressive professional; you can tell she really enjoys what she does. I would definitely repeat, but I am also sure that if it weren't with Ruth, it wouldn't be the same.

We took the two-day, one-night tour of the Highlands and Isle of Skye with José and Mark. It was fantastic. Jose entertained us throughout the trip with legends and stories, playing traditional Scottish music that he explained to us; I found it novel and interesting. Mark was also charming and made an effort to stop us at the best spots. Great professional. I highly recommend it
