Discover the magical wonderland of Lake Myvatn and Godafoss Waterfall with an experienced local tour guide. We set off from Akureryi stopping at Godafoss waterfall and then onto the famous Lake Myvatn. The tour stops at all the top attractions of Lake Myvatn including Grjotagja cave and rift, Dimmurborgir Lava formations, pseudocraters, Hverir mud pots and natural steam vents/fumeroles and the Myvatn Nature Baths. (Please note the entrance fee to the Nature Baths is not included). This great value tour includes small group tour with an experienced l local tour guide and transport. We offer free pick up and drop off from Akureyri at your Hotel, Guesthouse, Airport or Port (please let us know your pick up point).

5.00I highly recommend this tour. Weather prevented us from having more than a single day in Akureyri, and this day-tour enabled us to see most everything we wanted in a day that was full but not rushed. Our guide, Aaron, was wonderful and provided a depth of information on Iceland's nature, history, and contemporary politics. In addition to seeing all of the sights, with excellent descriptions, we also received an education on Icelandic culture, and especially on how it is expressed in the north. The guide was flexible to our needs, and we had adequate time to explore on our own at most of the sites we visited. We could not have asked for more from this trip, we loved each location, but really it was the guide, with his detailed descriptions and discussion of northern Iceland, who made it so wonderful and special. This is an exceptional tour, whether you have only a single day in Akureyri or if you want an overview of the places in the region for further exploration. Thank you for such a wonderful experience. It was a great way to end our trip to Iceland.

5.00This experience was jam packed with amazing sights and endless wonders of the world to see.. Our driver/tour guide (Ziggy) went above and beyond.. He was very knowledgable, kind and made everybody feel very comfortable, relaxed and made sure we were all happy.. The best tour I have been on in all my 50 years travelling!.. 5.00Our tour guide really looked after us all and kept us safe! The most amazing Icelandic scenery to experience which we would never have reached without the expert driving skills of our tour guide in very snowy and windy weather. He made us feel very safe and very much looked after during our tour! I would make sure to wear walking shoes or walking boots with a good grip and to make sure to wear warm clothes if needed with the changing Icelandic weather.

5.00Imagine specialized is small group tours. We were lucky enough on the two tours we took (northern lights and Godafoss waterfall) to have Armann as our tour guide, his knowledge of his country was amazing as were his stories of trolls, elves and Icelandic folklore . The scenery was amazing, craters, caves, snow covered mountains, frozen waterfalls and lakes. With regards to the Northern lights tour, it wasn't particularly good visibility the night we went but Armann has a group of people around the area that he calls on to assess visibility in their area and he is will willing drive to make your night memorable

5.00Tour guide Armand was very knowledgeable, we stopped at lots of spots to take some great photos and Armand knew the area very well as he had grown up there and was full of knowledge.
