5.00Really an amazing collection of Greek, Spartan and Roman artifacts and statues. Very impressive from the first prehistoric utensils to beautiful statues, jewelry and utensils such as oil jugs, bowls in glass and ceramics. Really very rewarding

4.00Very rich museum. The collections are well highlighted in superb display cases. The visit is a bit spoiled by the multitude of extremely noisy school groups whose guides only know how to yell their explanations... when you have the audio guide, it is difficult to hear. It is still a visit to do....maybe during the Italian school holidays.

5.00A truly beautiful and interesting museum, the building has been completely renovated so inside and modern the highlights are: the Golds of Taranto, the Tomb of the Athlete, the Venuses of Parabita, the Zeus of Ugento and much more. A compliment also to the Guide very prepared.

5.00One of the best museums we have ever been to, this includes The British Museum in London, every item is very well displayed and the artefacts are almost perfect condition after 3000 years!

5.00Very nice collection, interesting. Many Roman and Greek exhibits. Better and more detailed explanations at the exhibits would be good. Duration around 1-2 hours, well done in the midday heat, as nice and cool inside.

5.00In my opinion one of the most beautiful museums we have in Italy. We took audio guide having a small child and not being able to do guided tour, but it is very intuitive to use and our older daughter was able to follow everything. Very nice also the interactive stations
