5.00Melbourne is the capital of Australia's "Garden State." St Patrick's Catholic Cathedral is a neo-gothic structure dating from the 19th century, when the city was truly marvelous. St Paul's Anglican Cathedral has a magnificent interior; it's in the center of the city. Treasury Gardens is meticulously maintained; it adjoins Fitzroy Gardens has many well-know features, including historic Cooks' Cottage.
