  This was a beautiful scenic easy going canoe trip on the Mersey River. We had a perfect weather day and a fabulous guide …Hannah. Hannah was knowledgeable and fun and very patient with her novice paddlers. Highly recommend

  We had a beautiful day in Kejimkujik, an awesome tour guide on the canoes. She was super knowledgeable gave us a great dinner recommendation in Digby, we loved, a great hike in the park to Peter Point which was awesome. All around Perfect day!!!

  The Mersey River guided paddling tour was exactly the experience my soul was calling for. It fulfilled a desire I have carried my whole life — to be out on the water, immersed in nature, experiencing its beauty and peace firsthand. Carlene created the perfect environment for a first-time paddler. She was confident in my ability from the very beginning, which gave me confidence in myself. She encouraged and guided without hovering — like a mother bird gently allowing space to learn and grow, while always being available whenever I had a question. Paddling upstream on a windy day at the beginning of the adventure turned out to be the perfect training ground. I learned how to work with the wind and keep my kayak aligned. By the time we turned back and flowed with the current, it felt easy and natural. When heading back Carlene noticed I was gradually pulling ahead of the group and simply allowed it. Later she mentioned she could tell I wanted some quiet time alone on the water. That understanding meant a great deal to me. This experience not only nourished my spirit, it also gave me the confidence to take the kayak out on my own during my stay at a local cottage. I will carry this experience home with me in my heart.

  We had an incredible experience with Whynot Adventure at Keji. We arrived with 20 adults and no reservation: we were met with lovely and professional staff who made the whole booking seamless and quick. Their whole team was helpful and efficient and all the boats/gear worked perfectly. Couldn’t have gone better!

  Uncomfortable weather, cool and windy but the guide provided much information about trees and wildlife as well as local history.

  We booked a canoe for a 4 hour experience and enjoyed a picnic on the way. It was amazing and so much fun! All the members of the staff were awesome and so passionate about the great outdoors. Can’t wait to go again!

  Lovely guides, beautiful area and lots of interesting facts they scared. Would always do it again. On top we saw freshly hatched baby snapping turtles

  Super fun, beautiful and interesting canoe trip. We are inexperienced canoeists but our guide had an angelic patience with us and could tell nicely about the area.

  This was a brilliant experience and a special thanks to Amanda who was a superb guide. We thoroughly enjoyed seeing the turtles and Jake the beavers home, although he was elusive on our trip! Fabulous experience, highly recommended.
