We are passioned about Catalonia History, gastronomy & wine tastings. Our tour is focused on what locals use to do normally in Montserrat and the penedés area. Our leader use to be PR Manager of a local Winery and will tell you about the origins of wineneries sorrounding Montserrat. we'll heard about misticism & traditions. It is going to be an experience, much more than a tour!
The tour includes:
- One day private car trip to montserrat Mountain and monasterial area.
- We 'll be told on the mystical story of the Montserrat's Madonna and also about the meaning and the origin of Old Catalunya.
- We'll hear the singuings of the Choir (according to availability - Tickets are extra payment).
- Visit the Madonna ( According availability - extra payment).
- We'll visit Penedés region and visit one of the exclussive oldest wineries at the area enjoying the privilege of tasting the sparkling wine of the older wineries (winery ticket is not included).

Abadia De Montserrat
We will pick you up at your Hotel or appartment and drive you to visit the Monasterial area of Montserrat, which includes the old cloister of the XV th century, the cloister located at the entrance of the basilica of Sta. María de Montserrat, the cabinet of the Madonna and according the season and availability we could hear the singuings of the child's Choir: la escolaní de Montserrat. After the siguing we'll drive to the Cava region, over there we shall visit one of the oldest wineries in Spain.
Sant Sadurni d'Anoia
In St. Sadurní, the town called the capital of sparking wines in Spain, we will have lunch as locals do and if you want we'll taste the first cava of our experience. After that we' ll enjoy discovering one of the oldest ecological wineries of Spain . Remember tickets at winery are NOT INCLUDED on the tour price.

Breathtaking winery and Monserrat monastery

5.00Monia was a fantastic guide - friendly, personable, and truly the heart of what made this to her so special! We began our tour at a beautiful family owned winery dating back to 1887. We toured the winery and enjoyed a lovely tasting (and will be taking home some amazing corpinnat). The scenic drive to Monserrat was breathtaking, and this monastery itself is a musty one visiting Barcelona. Monia’s deep knowledge of the monastery and surrounding region made the experience incredibly rich and memorable. Highly recommend this personalized tour!

Her in-depth knowledge and passion shone through as she shared family stories and history that brought Catalan culture to life in the most engaging way. The winery and Montserrat were both exquisite, but the surprise detour and lunch were unexpected bonuses. You won’t regret booking with Monia!

4.00Hearing the choir sing and seeing the art museum were wonderful! Our guide spoke excellent English and was very knowledgeable. It was nice just to be driven and not dealing with public transportation or a group tour. We were disappointed that the wine tasting didn’t have any red wines. Cost was an additional $28pp and wasn’t worth it for us. We would have preferred using the time hiking some of the trails at Monserrat.
