The Monument Valley tour includes Sedona, Meteor Crater, and Monument Valley. It begins with a scenic, narrated, flight through the Red Rock formations of Sedona. It then takes in the San Francisco Peaks and the Painted Desert.
The tour continues and may make a brief stop in Page, Arizona, located along the shores of Lake Powell (depending on aircraft).
The flight will continue on to Monument Valley where you will experience the monuments from the air. The flight will land at Gouldings Field, just minutes from Monument Valley, and embark on a guided, 90 minute 4X4 ground tour into the Navajo Tribal Park. Your Navajo guide will provide insights into the culture and beauty of this sacred area. Finally, return to Gouldings Lodge for a delicious Navajo Taco lunch before returning to the airport for the scenic return flight.

5.00Absolutely wonderful fully day excursion by small plane and van. c Chase,our Cessna pilot, was extremely competent and informatjve as we flew to Monument Valley, and our van driver, a Navajo named Billy, gave us much history about his people and their world yesterday and today. Definitely worth the cost and the time.
Perfect day trip to monument valley.

5.00Excellent trip! Snacks and drinks to start, we flew in a Cessna. Very spacious, comfortable. The flight is about 2 hours, narrated with music. The website description is a bit outdated- they don’t fly over the Grand Canyon anymore, but they do fly over and through monument valley, which was amazing!!! Weather was perfect, visibility clear. We dropped off and the tour company was waiting to take us to lunch. A nice taco lunch with ice cream!!! We then did a 90 minute tour of the valley. Plenty of time to get out and take pictures. A quick 2 hour flight back rounded out a perfect day! If you don’t want to drive from Phoenix, this is the way to go!!

5.00Excellent trip. Snacks and drinks before takeoff. Used a Cessna to fly up. 2 hour narrated flight and went right over the valley! Tour company was waiting. Had a nice lunch at the local restaurant and then a van tour of the valley. Epic once in a lifetime trip. Less than 2 hour flight back. Learned a lot, souvenir photo, and memories to last a lifetime. Thank you for an amazing experience!
it was theoretically a great tour, but did not live up to our expectations for the cost.

4.00It was a truly wonderful experience to see the stunning landscape from 10,000 feet. The plane is very small and I was somewhat nervous, but our pilot Brandon, was very understanding and helped put me at ease. The guide at Monument Valley tour was not great. We paid for a taco lunch, which we were given to eat in the truck, at the designated tour stop. As soon as we finished our horrible tacos, he said "we had taken too long eating it and now had to go back to the plane"...no tour! Having paid over $1000.00 each it was a disappointing experience.
The BEST way to see the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley!

5.00My husband and I were so nervous about getting on a small plane but the Westwind staff put us at ease right away and our pilot, “Hollywood”, was amazing! The views from the plane really can’t be truly captured in photos. It was amazingly beautiful! The Monument Valley ground tour gave us a lot of history and served us a delicious authentic taco lunch before flying back to Phoenix. I highly recommend Westwind Air Service and imagine whichever tour you select will be unforgettable!

Only way to see Monument Valley with Navajo reservation locked down

4.00Excellent tour! This was the only way for us to see Monument Valley since the Reservation is still closed. We flew around Lake Powell and landed at Monument Valley after flying around for us to view. A Navajo guide told us about Navajo life and then drove us out to see part of the valley that is currently accessible. We then took off and flew over to view the Grand Canyon from the air. Awesome!

5.00We booked that flight and were already pretty excited. That flight was topping our expectations and we were speechless. Already the booking was very fast and always so friendly. Re-bookings we could make uncomplicated. Arriving at the airport was fairly easy and we got a warm welcome. Our pilot always took care for us before, during and after the flight. While flying we got a guided tour over the headphones. Definitely recommendable!!!

5.00I could not be happier with the services provided by Westwind Air Service. Gathering tour details, options, and pricing was a breeze through their texting service, and once I submitted the web booking, the Westwind team was quick to confirm the reservation. "Check-in" at the Page, AZ airport was quick, and we were on the tarmac in fewer than 2 minutes upon our arrival in the terminal. The professional, yet friendly pilot provided a great pre-flight experience, and also offered lots of good information while in-flight. I also enjoyed the professionally produced audio tour that was available through the noise-blocking headsets. The group took hundreds of great photos throughout the trip, and we learned a ton from the Navajo guide while visiting Monument Valley. I highly recommend booking a tour with Westwind Air Service - it will be a trip you will cherish and never forget.
