Vettakollen Viewpoint
This is the "wow" moment of the tour. We’ll reach this iconic rocky summit for the absolute best panoramic views of the Oslofjord, the city skyline, and the islands. It’s the perfect spot for photos! While you take in the scenery, your guide will serve up a refreshing drink and a sweet local treat to recharge your energy before we head down to the lake.

5.00Beautiful moderate hike. Andreas was kind and considerate. He even made me a gluten free waffle which I never expected and it was amazing. I enjoyed learning about the culture through our conversation. It was everything I could have wanted for a 3.5 hour excursion. One of the best days of my 2 week trip!

5.00What a great trek. Andreas is an absolute delight. Knowledge, funny, and a professional cook he has found a way to leverage all his skills and joys. Even though one of our group had a sore knee, he adjusted the pace to accommodate. There are great views of the city and a nice stop by a lake to have a fresh made snack. Be advised that the trail does require the ability to walk on rocks. Overall, the tour goes downhill so don’t worry about having to trek back to the original start point. You end at a metro rail station that will get you back to Oslo Central Station quite easily. Absolutely worth the time. In fact, if you do this early in your stay, Andreas has lots of recommendations on other things to see and do that are both interesting and will not stress your wallet (too much)’

He’s hospitable & friendly. All of this is before the waffle which is the best part! Don’t hesitate to book this tour!

5.00This was an amazing experience. Easy to follow the instructions to meet Andreas was waiting for us when we got off the metro. Had a great hike with entertaining facts and stories along the way. We had coffee and snacks along the way and then Andreas cooked us some excellent waffles in a spot by a lake. Overall an excellent experience.

5.00Our hike with Andreas was a wonderful and unique experience through the Oslo's mountain. It was so refreshing to get out of the main city and experience the Norwegian's 'Friluftsliv'. Not to mention, we're all now obsessed with brown cheese and Norwegian waffles. The hike, the views, and the food were all amazing. Don't hesitate to book this tour!
