One of the most pleasant ways to experience experiential tourism is to attend a cooking class and the handmade pasta courses are an excellent opportunity to learn about local gastronomic traditions.

During the lessons, travelers will learn how to make the pastry without the use of a machine but with the most ancient method, board and rolling pin. We had the most wonderful experience with Chef Simonetta. She created such a special and memorable day for our family, teaching us how to make fresh pasta in a way that was fun, relaxed, and truly authentic. Simonetta was warm, patient, knowledgeable, and so generous with her time and hospitality. The entire experience felt personal and beautifully organized from start to finish. After the pasta-making lesson, we enjoyed an incredible lunch together, and every bite was delicious. And the tiramisu — honestly, it was the best tiramisu I have ever tasted. We even have a picture of the empty pan after we ate every last bite — with the baby happily licking up what was left — which says everything you need to know about how delicious it was! This was one of the true highlights of our trip. If you are looking for an authentic Italian cooking experience with someone who makes you feel completely welcome, I cannot recommend Chef Simonetta highly enough. A perfect day and an unforgettable experience!
