Our guide Peter gave an excellent tour of the synagogues, history, and culture of the Jewish quarter. It ran slightly long, which was not ideal since the tour is already long, but he did a fantastic job bringing the history to life and sharing current Jewish culture with us. I’d highly recommend this tour and Peter.

The stories were interesting, but too long for the younger members. I don’t recommend this tour for children.

Just the right amount of time at each stop with a great history lesson along the way. Our guide was knowledgeable and personable. Would definitely recommend this tour for insight and perspective.

This was a great tour for learning about Jewish history, discrimination, and inequities allowed to permeate political landscape and society. Really quite sad and scary. Thought provoking.

Peter was THE best. His knowledge is crazy good, his humor is fun. What a blessing that I got switched to his group at the last minute to even out the two groups! Both the Jewish and non-Jewish folks in my tour said we learned a lot.

If you do not have a lot of time, this is a wonderful way to see much of the Jewish quarter including the synagogues and the Jewish cemetery. You learn a great deal about Jewish life and the atrocities during WWII. Another wonderful part of the tour is that your ticket to many of the synagogues is good for the next 3 days so you can also return at your leisure to immerse yourself into what each has to offer. For example, in the Spanish synagogue, there are numerous exceptional displays and interviews that you can return to the following day and watch and read through. Truly an exceptional, profound and moving experience brought to light by passionate and knowledgeable guides. This tour should not be missed!

very thoughtful knowledgeable balanced presentation by guide. there was some possibility of not handing out radios which would have been very frustrating as you are often separated from guide through rooms and many other groups. so DO NOT go without the radios linking you to the guide.
