After booking, you will receive an email with access to our app and the audio guide "Iceland Complete". This offers interesting facts about the country and its people in over 340 audio stations.
How does the app work?
With the guides, you always have your tour guide with you! What a tour guide would normally do, your smartphone can now do: GPS-controlled, the app tells you interesting, entertaining and exciting facts about the country and its people. Connected to the audio system of your rental car, all information is automatically played to you along the way.
The guides also work offline and are easy to install via the associated app. To access the guide on our app, we will give you an access code for a smartphone that you can connect to the car radio. This way, all fellow travelers in the vehicle can listen along. Please look out for this separate email after booking (also in the spam folder) and contact us if you have any problems.

This audio guide was fantastic! It was very informative and the subjects automatically began playing at the perfect time. And the guide’s voice was very pleasing. Highly recommended!!

The information that was told was mostly underwhelming. I’ve listened to many audio tours while travelling the world and this was the worst. I know there are a ton of stories and information to be told about Iceland but I felt like I did not get my moneys worth. I will say that I only bought this audio tour when I was in the north of Iceland so I do not have any comments to say about the south.

Get this before your trip! It automatically comes on and tells you about an area as you drive. It has tons of information on the sights, history, geology, and culture of each area. It was more helpful than the months of planning that I did for the ring road trip. We know tons more about Iceland than we would have driving without it. Highly recommended!

A useful app when it works automatically, which it did not do 50%of the time. Also, when I paid for the app and the Iceland guide I assumed it would cover everything; unfortunately for $20 it only gave me information of the golden circle main route and nothing else. Everything else requires an additional payment of $10-20.
