The day trip to Bhaktapur and Nagarkot from Kathmandu takes you to the ancient city of Bhaktapur and the most popular Himalayan viewpoint closer to Kathmandu City 'Nagarkot hill station'. This tour is designed for travelers who have a limited time in Nepal but still want to explore the natural, cultural and traditional monuments of the cities including viewing most spectacular Himalayan panorama including Mt. Everest. Witness age-old Nepalese culture, tradition, art and architecture, daily farming life of people living closer to the Kathmandu City during your visit.
Note: From Nagarkot, mountain views are only visible when the weather is clear and without clouds.

Complimentary pick-up and drop-off services are provided from hotels located in Kathmandu city centers. Additional charges may apply for pick-up or drop-off outside these areas.
Entrance fees are payable in Nepali Rupees at each site (e.g., NPR 2,000 per person for Bhaktapur). These fees are not included in the tour.
Feel free to take a lunch break during the tour. Consult with your guide for recommendations on highly recommended restaurants, and enjoy a wonderful dining experience.
From Nagarkot, mountain views are only visible when the weather is clear and without clouds.

Nagarkot is famous for Sunrise or Sunset. During the tour, if you wish to go for sunrise or sunset, please inform in advance and we will provide you the pick up time.

5.00Shankar is the best guide ever. Super knowledgeable and gave me the best background to Hinduism I have ever heard. He sat down to explain the history behind the 3 Durbar squares before we left and it’s featured so I. Pils look out for them. Super flexible cos I was able to add patan to my trip and a short hike to the waterfalls and suspension bridges at Nargakort. Sujan’s driving was perfect and smooth, especially on the mountain road. car was super comfortable. Ask for them.

5.00This was the best guide in KTM. We scheduled tours via our hotel but this was much better. The tour was nice, the storytelling was good and the shopping was better. Probably the best area in KTM

5.00Couldn’t recommend this tour enough, Shankar was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and history of Nepal and we learnt so much! He went above and beyond to make the tour special and we felt really well looked after on this private tour. The scenic views from Nagarkot were amazing and we got a really good sense of life outside of Kathmandu. The history and beautiful buildings of Bhaktapur were equally unforgettable, with beautiful architecture and rich history brought to life through the stories and insights Shankar shared as we explored. Highly recommend Shankar for anyone visiting Nepal!

5.00I joined the Nagarkot tour. Razz was my tour guide and Sujan drove us around. The ride was comfortable and I got to visit different sites at Nagarkot like the suspension bridge, Buddha Peace Park and the famous view point. There was a little bit of rain but the weather was comfortable and cool. Razz was keen and friendly and shared much information about Nepal and Buddhism. The tour was really enjoyable and I highly recommend it.

5.00Razz was a great guide! Very helpful a knowledgeable on all areas we visited. Took us to a lovely restaurant for lunch which was a nice touch. Santos was a great driver also! Couldn’t fault the trip :-)

5.00We did a full-day private tour to Bhaktapur with Shankar. He is a very knowledgeable guide and shared many unexpected and interesting facts about Nepal. Bhaktapur is a wonderful place to visit, with the main temples and Durbar Square very well preserved. Shankar also gave us some time for shopping and taking pictures, which we really appreciated. We would definitely recommend this tour, and Shankar as your guide!
