The tour company efficiently arranged for Tommy, an exceptionally knowledgeable guide, to greet us upon landing. To our pleasant surprise, Tommy exceeded our expectations, providing insightful commentary on Taiwan's history. His unique perspective illuminated the country's transformation, guiding us to off-the-beaten-path locations we wouldn't have discovered otherwise. Tommy's dedication extended the tour beyond our initial reservation, encompassing Taipei 101, Songshan Ciyou Temple, Wufenpu Shopping District, Raohe Street Night Market, and the National Chiang Kai-Shek Cultural Center. 1.00My tour guide Jimy showed up drunk and I sent him away. His explanation was that he was still drunk from the night before, even though it’s three in the afternoon.
