Imjingak Pyeonghoa-Nuri Park
Imjingak is a key peace tourism site in South Korea, reflecting the tragic legacy of the Korean War and the ongoing division. Visitors can also find the Mangbaedan, a place where displaced families perform ancestral rites while longing for their relatives in the North. Imjingak Resort
The Imjingak Peace Gondola is the first gondola connecting civilian areas with the restricted zone. It operates a round trip of 1.7 km between Imjingak in the south and the DMZ station across the Imjin River. Riding at a height of 50 meters, visitors can enjoy scenic views of the river and reflect on the horrors of the Korean War. There are 26 gondolas continuously running between the southern Imjingak Station and the northern DMZ Station. Additionally, during this tour, your guide will share insights about the Korean Army’s front-line combat division responsible for monitoring the DMZ boundary.
