Welcomed by a cultured and elegant chauffeur, you'll enjoy his funny and unknown anecdotes about Médoc.
Along this excursion, you will have a visit to a grand cru classé from 1855 and a family estate. Each château will offer you the opportunity to taste between 2 and 3 of their wines.
Your chauffeur will take the time to show you the well-known "route des châteaux", the village of Margaux as well as the world-famous Château Margaux.
Do you have the spirit of an adventurer? If you wish, you can take the wheel of your 2CV on a small country road! *
* You need to have a valid driving license with you.
** Each 2CV can take a maximum of 3 people (plus the chauffeur). If you book for 2 people you will have one 2CV. If you book for 6 people you will have two 2CVs, etc. When there are several 2CVs, we drive in convoy.

5.00Simon was a friendly and fantastic driver and guide as we toured two chateaux in Médoc. Simon described different parts of Bordeaux as we drove through the city and countryside, and also shared the history of the Citroën 2CV. He also showed us around a couple of points of interest in Margaux while between chateaux. His rose pink 2CV was clean and reliable, with the weather nice enough for him to open the top when we were in Médoc. The chateaux both included tours of the property and tastings. The guides at each chateaux spoke English and were able to share the history of their property as well as the complexities of the winemaking process. The tastings were ample and did not feel rushed or overly sales-oriented.

5.00This tour is a must-do in Bordeaux! From the moment we met Julien, our delightful guide/driver, and saw the vintage Citroen, we knew we were in for an unforgettable experience. Our 11 year old son loved riding around in the antique car, and our lovely hosts at the two wineries we visited provided him with grape juice and violet-flavored water. The wineries were beautiful and our hosts were so kind and informative. Julien even took plenty of photos for us on our journey. Don’t miss this tour!

5.00Wonderful experience! Océane was friendly, knowledgeable, and a great driver. Both chateaus visited offered different prospective on the history of the area and processes for making the wine. Would recommend this experience for anyone looking for a more intimate experience while in Bordeaux!

5.00I highly recommend this tour! Our tour guide was very friendly and showed us the city and 2 nice Châteaus. We had also nice tours on the win yards and for sure a good tasting. We were also able to drive the 2CV for a couple of minutes. If you search something special, do this tour - even if you are not a big fan of old cars.

5.00Our guide, Oceane, is terrific. We visited two very nice chateau and a fantastic chocolate shop. Oceane also showed us a relic in Bordeaux, the Palais Gallien, from the Roman era. So many people admired the old Citroen convertible!

5.00The wine tour of Margeaux was superb. We enjoyed 2 great Chateaux’s, the driver Achille was great, gave great information and made the tour very enjoyable! We will be back next time we are in Bordeaux.
