Departing from Port Douglas, your 90-minute high speed catamaran takes you directly to Agincourt Reef. The permanent pontoon moored here provides a sheltered base. During the trip a snorkeling demonstration will get you ready for your adventure, and the staff will take you through your options for the day.
Agincourt Reef
You'll have around 3.5 hours to enjoy the reef at your leisure. Grab a snorkel and fins and hit the water on your own, or join an optional guided snorkeling tour with a qualified marine biologist. Snorkeling is a great way to explore the Great Barrier Reef, and there are friendly staff on hand to show you how. Prefer to stay dry? You can explore the stunning reef from the comfort of a semi-submersible submarine. You'll take a leisurely cruise through colorful coral gardens, giving you a snorkeler's view of the marine life without getting wet. For a little more adventure, why not try an introductory scuba dive. or a unique Ocean Walker Helmet Dive - no diving experience necessary. We recommend you book this reef trip on your first full available day. You then have the opportunity to be flexible and change your travel date if you wish. Your booking can be changed at no additional cost directly with the operator once you are in Cairns.

5.00We had an absolutely incredible day snorkeling and enjoying the Agincourt Reef. The staff were superb as was the availability of gear. Your safety is always a priority for the Quicksilver crew. Lunch was delicious and we highly recommend this experience for everyone. Don't hesitate - this is a once in a life-time bucket list experience which will leave you in awe!

5.00All the gears are included. That is very handy. The adventure snorkeling was not very worthy though as I did not see any other different marine life.
I have mobility issues, assured I would be able to access most activities, not correct

5.00Amazing! Staff was all amazing and made sure we had a great time! Also loved that you could rent a GoPro and keep the memory card! Was awesome to go home and relive the memories!

5.00Had a great day out on the pontoon with Quicksilver, I did the intro to Scuba diving which was terrific. A good little taster for a complete novice. Hubby was not into swimming or snorkelling, but he enjoyed the day and the experience, including the semi-submersible trip. The lunch provided was very tasty, and the staff and crew were friendly. Considering it is a 90 minute one way trip to the reef, the cost was very fair. We did have a quite a few less people than they than normally experience, which probably contributed to a more relaxed pace.

4.00The day is well structured. 90 mins ride on boat there and back. You can move around the boat at any time. Both indoor and outdoor seating available. Lunch was plentiful and you can go back for seconds. Instructions and guidance from staff was top notch and you are free to snorkel as much as you like.

5.00Fabulous experience from start to finish. Booked a 3 dive tour to the Great Barrier Reef. I did one scuba dive and 2 snorkle dives. I had my PADI card which allowed me to go on a 10 meter dive for over an hour. It was 10+ years since my last Scuba, so I really appreciated how Gordon took excellent care of me. Safety was a top priority. The snorkle tour for the last stop was filled with colorful fish. With so many tour companies to choose from I recommend Quicksilver.

5.00The cruise was very well organised with high level of attention to details. They even had powered snorkelling masks which was helpful for me as I have a high eye power. The crew were very friendly and always reaching out to check on us. Semi submersible tour was amazing, especially for those for whom getting into the water can be difficult.
