5.00Our day with Alec was amazing, he knows this mountain intimately, pretty sure he can drive it with his eyes closed, took us to many waterfalls, black sand beach (off the beaten path) and the bamboo forest, and much more he was knowledgeable, helpful to others driving the road and a great time, Alec made sure my husband and I got the most of this once in a lifetime experience! He also does the MOST to get that amazing photo of you, I’m talking running up the road to get to the other side to photo you with the most amazing background he was a lunatic in the very BEST way and made our road to Hana trip! There’s no way we would have enjoyed it like we did if we drove ourselves. Plenty of bathroom breaks and he even got us Auntie Sandy’s banana bread and some Hawaii golden pineapple on the way ❤️ if you’re thinking of booking this tour with Alec the answer is YES do it ! This trip and Alec will be etched in our memories and our hearts forever!

5.00Highly recommend this Road to Hana Jungle Tour with Alec. He knows the roads like the back of his hand and takes you off the beaten path to go hiking and find some beautiful secret waterfalls and spots. He captured some incredible pictures of our family that I love. We had an absolute blast and saw some truly incredible places. Definitely bring or purchase some water shoes for this tour! We loved it!

5.00An excellent day in the Jeep with guide Alec . He’s very knowledgeable of the history of the area and the hidden gems to discover on the road to Hana without the crowds. Quiet places with beautiful falls, swimming holes, bamboo forests & more. He took great pictures and videos for us to remember our trip by too! He has a great sense of humor which made it all the more fun and I felt like we were saying goodbye to a good friend at the end of the day!

5.00From beginning to end our excursion was exciting, adventurous and fund. Alec went out of his way to ensure we saw beautiful things on and ogg the beaten path. Everyone in our group of five said that it was their favorite.
Customized Jungle Tour. Follow Alec’s lead and you won’t be disappointed.

5.00Alec was an awesome guide who took us off the beaten path. He shown us places on the road to Hana that were not touristy at all. No crowds or waiting in line for us! He knew all the business people along the way and they treated us very well. Alec is an excellent tour guide who will take you to see anything you want OR you can just go with the flow and see all of his favorite hidden gems of the jungle.

1.00Unfortunately, this was a very frustrating experience. I booked this tour 2 months ago as part of our 20th wedding anniversary trip to Maui. I received a text confirmation the night before telling us to be in the lobby of our resort at 7am for pick up. We waited in the lobby from 7-8:18 after having texted and called, without a response from the tour operator. When Alec finally returned my call, he asked if he spoke to me the previous evening and then asked ME who he had in his car, since he had already picked up another couple. I guess verifying ID and the actual booking information that we were emailed is not a regular part of his process. He then tried to play it off like a scheduling error. At no point did he offer any sort of resolution to rectify HIS error. If you are planning a vacation that you have waited for and saved for, I would recommend booking with someone who is going to be dependable and provide the experience you’ve been dreaming of. Unfortunately, that is not this company.

5.00If you’re traveling with a smaller group, this is definitely the way to go. The convertible jeep experience was amazing! The tour guide, Alec, was incredible! He brought us to less crowded spots and shared his knowledge of the island with us! It was an unforgettable experience. I couldn’t imagine trying to drive ourselves on that road, we wouldn’t have enjoyed it if that’s what we had to do. Also I don’t see the big group vans being enjoyable having to go at multiple peoples paces/abilities. The private, more intimate tour is the way to go!

5.00One of the best things we did on Maui! We are outdoors people, love to see nature. Without all the crowds. Alec is amazing. He will take you as much as you can take. We usually skipped the "usual" stops and he took us to places you would never find on your own. If you like hiking into places. The road is super curvy and its a slow journey, but make sure to go early and beat the tons of cars on Hana highway. It is busy! He took just me and my wife in his Jeep. It was a real treat. I love his knowledge and in a small vehicle, you get to ask tons of questions and great conversation. A little more cost then the "vans" but after today, I would only go with Alec in a jeep! notes. Wear walking shoes that you can wade in water or get muddy and not have to change for trail walking. We waded across streams! and went through a lot of trails.
