Even if it rains, the tour will continue as is, weather permitting. Please bring your own umbrella, rain shoes, and umbrella if necessary.
We recommend that you wear comfortable shoes as much as possible, as you will be walking in places you are not used to walking.
When there is snow, the width of the sidewalk becomes very narrow. For safety reasons, depending on the snow and road conditions, we may walk through underground walkways instead of outdoors during the tour.

Former Hokkaido Government Office Building
After 10 mins walk from the starting point as Sapporo station, we will visit the temporal tour facility and the octagonal tower, which is only seen this close during the construction. This building is essential for learning about the history of Sapporo, and even while it is under construction, you can learn about the thoughts and history behind the building.
Clock Tower (Tokei-dai)
It takes 5 mins to get to the symbolic landmark in central Sapporo from Snow brand shop. the Clock Tower serves as a museum with displays about the building's history and the clock. You can enjoy the beauty of the clock tower just by looking at it from the outside. However, please take your time and take a tour of the inside. You can feel the vitality of the building that was used as part of the agricultural school, as well as the many parts that move the clock of the Sapporo Clock Tower.

5.00This was the perfect tour for my first day in Sapporo. Jessica was warm, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable and organized. She took some great pics of me since I was solo. I appreciated her recommendations for local restaurants and tea shops. The tour was a great experience. A highlight for me was the postcard stamps at the TV tower. The only difficulty I had was navigating my map app trying to find the meeting place. I was grateful that the company had provided a photo of the sculpture.

5.00I had a great afternoon with my guide Megumi and some other friendly tourists in a small group. We were told some history of Hokkaido, saw many sights, saw some of the snow festival sculptures, went to the top of the old TV tower and tried traditional Japanese tea. I can only recommend it.

5.00My girlfriend and I really enjoyed this walking tour in Sapporo, our guide Seiko was exceptional with great energy. She took us to several very interesting locations in the city, one of the stops was this tea shop, which was perfect for the cold weather, we recommend this tour for anyone visiting Sapporo for the first time.

5.00BIG THANK YOU to Seiko for an amazing Sapporo Afternoon Walking Tour yesterday. We thoroughly loved our afternoon tour & Seiko was an amazing guide dressed in her kimono which added to the authenticity of our tour. Seiko's english was very good & she made us feel very relaxed & comfortable as we walked around Sapporo including to the top of Sapporo Tower. We highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Sapporo & wanting to get a good understanding of the city & its' history.

5.00Megumi and Rie guided me on a wonderful, informative walking tour of Sapporo. Everything was well-timed, and they were able to answer all my questions. The view from the tower was just great, because you can see the full 360 degrees of the city. Also, the visit to the restoration of the original government building was nice; the care being taken to restore that building was very detailed. I could have stayed there a lot longer, because the exhibit depicting the origins and restoration were museum quality. This is a great tour to take on your first day, to get an overview of Sapporo. I do recommend this tour. Thank you, Megumi and Rie!
