5.00Secret Tours Edinburgh turned out to be one of the most surprising and memorable experiences in the city. From the very beginning, it felt less like a standard guided tour and more like being let in on the hidden layers of Edinburgh that most people walk straight past without noticing. What made it stand out was how many completely unknown corners of the city we discovered, all located right in the heart of the centre, yet so easy to miss if you don’t know where to look. Narrow closes, hidden courtyards, and tucked-away passages suddenly came alive with stories that gave them real meaning. We were also taken to a few genuinely secret spots that felt almost like stepping behind the curtain of the city. Each location came with fascinating explanations, mixing history, local legends, and little-known facts that you wouldn’t find in typical guidebooks.

5.00I really enjoyed the tour with Secret Tours Edinburgh. I’ve been to Edinburgh a few times before, but I still learned so many things and discovered places I had no idea about. The stories were interesting, the guide was great, and the whole tour felt very natural and engaging. You can really feel the history of the city while walking around. Such a great experience and I’d definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Edinburgh!

5.00I joined a secret places walking tour in Edinburgh and it was a really great experience. The tour covers some of the main areas of the city, but what makes it special is that the guide also shows places that are genuinely hidden. We walked around the Old Town near Royal Mile, but also went through tiny closes, hidden courtyards, and small passages that most people would simply walk past without noticing. Some of the spots were really well hidden and I would never have found them on my own. The guide was friendly and shared interesting stories about the city’s history and some lesser-known facts about Edinburgh. If you enjoy discovering places that are a bit off the usual tourist route, this tour is definitely worth doing. It shows a different side of the city.
