Day 1: Pokhara - Australian Camp - Dhampus

08:30 a.m. – Pick up from your hotel and drive 30–40 minutes to Kande, the start of the hike to Australian Camp. Please have breakfast before pickup. This is a short 2-day, 1-night trek, so we recommend packing light. From Kande, enjoy a 2-hour uphill hike to Australian Camp. The trail is moderately challenging, but you’ll be rewarded with a 180° mountain panorama including Annapurna, Dhaulagiri, Lamjung, and Manaslu. Relax with a warm drink and enjoy the scenery. Then, continue with a 1-hour downhill hike to Dhampus Village. Check in to a local guesthouse, have lunch, and explore the village to experience the Gurung culture.

Enjoy both sunset and sunrise views along with stunning mountain views from Dhampus. This picturesque village near Pokhara is famous for its breathtaking scenery and rich Gurung heritage.

Enjoy the sunrise view, and after sunrise, have breakfast overlooking Fishtail and the Annapurna mountain range. At 09:00 a.m., begin your hike to Pokhara, passing through scenic villages like Dhital and Astam. This is a quiet, less-traveled trail, yet very picturesque. Some sections include a narrow motorable road. Along the way, enjoy stunning mountain views on your left and experience the local village heritage in Astam and Dhital. After about 2.5 hours of hiking, arrive at Milan Chowk and take a 20-minute drive back to Pokhara.
