You will have a historical and artistic introduction to Leonardo da Vinci’s masterpiece “The Last Supper” during which you’ll find out why it is located there and why it has no point to be anywhere else, you’ll learn what artistic techniques were used by the Renaissance artist initially and by the experts who restored the wall painting in modern times, you’ll also witness the evolution of its fate in the centuries. Then during the guided visit of the painting you’ll eventually get to know all the meanings and hidden symbology the Genius codified in his masterpiece. Loved the Last Supper, but unhappy with Tour Guide

3.00Seeing the Last Supper was fabulous, but we were disappointed in our Tour Guide, Katrina. While she was extremely knowledgeable about the art, she could not tell us everything in the time allotted so she took more time... a lot more time. It was too much. She talked so fast it was hard to understand all of it. Once we left the area with the painting, she talked at us again, and then again when we were outside. It was exhausting just listening to her. Her presentation was too long for the time allotted. It was not a good experience. Katrina was also fairly rude to the security at the Last Supper. Our time was up and they asked her several times to leave ... but she just kept talking. Also, a woman was allowed in to view the Last Supper with our group. Katrina made a very rude remark to her about getting all this information without paying for it. Totally unnecessary. Finding where to meet up with our guide was difficult -- no specific instructions when we booked. We accidentally found some people waiting for the same group. Otherwise, I'm not sure we would have known where to go. Glad we saw the Last Supper, but wish we had gone with another group.

5.00It was one hour packed with details. There is only 15 minutes in front of the work but a look at the life of Da Vinci, what he was trying to convey, what to look for, and how it was maintained/restored over time.

5.00Katrina is a very knowlegable guide. We enjoyed every bit of the tour. It was over too quickly but so glad we paid for the tour rather than just try and go by ourselves.
