We had a wonderful experience on this tour. After pick-up in Cairns, our guide Joe shared great information about the area and it's history. The beach experience with Brendon was the highlight of the trip. After walking barefoot through the med flats and catching mud crabs with a spear, we returned to Brandon's family's home and feasted on the crab, home made damper and even green turtle he had recently caught (only allowed to be hunted by aboriginal people.) Brandon was welcoming and shared a bit of his wealth of knowledge about foraging and hunting. Next stop was Mossman gorge for lunch and a hike, then off to an aboriginal art class. We each had the opportunity to create a small painting on paper using indigenous techniques. Overall, a great day and the experience with Brandon was one of our favorite parts of our trip. Also a big shout out to Joe, who was a great guide for the day.

Greg was really great at informing the tour group with information that was very knowledgeable and interesting. His jokes were cheesy but it was definitely funny. I loved his sense of humor. The daintree tour was amazing especially the Cooya beach.

A fabulous day, hosted by the marvellous Mark from Down Under tours saw us experience Aboriginal coastal life, with stories, hunter-gathering and history from our guide, Eam. Then to the Mossman Gorger for a guided rainforest walk and then a hands on lesson in Aboriginal artwork at the Janbal Gallery with ‘Binna’. A marvellous day full of stories, history, humour and hope for a vanishing world. The lunch was really good too. It even rained in the rain forest!

We had such a wonderful day! Our guide Christo was fantastic — he explained everything in detail during each visit and even added some fun little stories along the way. He answered all of our questions with a smile. Thank you so much for this unforgettable experience! The Frenchies

Daniel was our driver and guide He was really knowledgeable about the rainforest, both plants and animals. The trip was well planned, with regular stops. Food was provided, which was all so tasty. It's a fantastic area to go to.I even saw a cassowary! I thoroughly recommend this tour.

Day trip with Steve who is an exciting guide. It has many truly unique anecdotes about local life, aboriginal rituals, local flora and fauna. However, there are many moments on the bus, little walking. It’s very framed both in the spaces to visit, and in the timings. Well-paced day with lots of beautiful things to see but unfortunately not much time to enjoy it to the fullest. My favourite moment: all the historical and life stories of Aboriginal people That of my companion: the boat ride in search of crocodiles
