Discover the stunning array of red sandstone formations at the Red Rocks of Sedona. In addition to experiencing the breathtaking backdrop of the Red Rocks you will also explore ancient Native American ruins on this day tour from Phoenix. You’ll have a total of approximately 2-3 hours in Sedona to explore on foot, visit world-class art galleries and shops, or get a psychic reading. Your guide will also take you to photo spots to view and explore the wonders of this sculpted red rock playground. Enjoy this small-group tour with a maximum of 13 passengers in a custom, air-conditioned van.

Arizona state law requires children under 8 years to have either a child seat or booster. Child seats are not provided, please bring your own and you must notify supplier ahead of time.
Minimum age is 3 years and you must notify supplier ahead of time of any small children and that you will provide car seats.
Wheelchairs or walkers that fold up are acceptable on tour - you must notify tour supplier ahead of time
You must let the supplier know if there are any mobility concerns that they should be aware of.
There is NOT a restroom on the van. Comfort stops are made throughout the day.
Minimum numbers apply. There is a possibility of cancellation after confirmation if there is not enough passengers to meet requirements. In the event of this occurring, you will be offered an alternative or full refund
FOR LAST MINUTE BOOKINGS: Any tours booked after 7:00PM Arizona time the night before the tour date might not be confirmed. You will likely have to meet at another hotel for pick up. Our office will contact you prior to 6:00am on the tour date.

Montezuma Castle National Monument
To be true to the area's rich history, the Sedona single day tour gives you a chance to explore ancient Native American civilization. You'll visit the ruins at Montezuma Castle National Monument which are the most easily accessible, best preserved and arguably the most spectacular cliff ruins in North America. You'll see an impressive 20-room, 5-story structure built into the recess of a white limestone cliff about 70 feet (21 meters) above the ground.

1.00This tour is overpriced for what is covered. I was also told they would pick me up at the hotel when I signed up calling viator customer service. I had to pay taxi to get to another location.

5.00This was an amazing must take tour! Beautiful Arizona landscapes and Jay was a very funny and informational guide on our tour! Very happy that I could see Sedona, have a bbq lunch and visit Montezuma Castle and even stop for pie! Very enjoyable day and tour!

5.00If you want to experience Sedona for a day, this is the way to do it! Detours made everything so easy. Communication leading up to the tour was excellent. The price is very reasonable for what you get. My tour guide, Vince, was very knowledgeable and taught me a lot about Sedona and the history of Arizona as a whole. There were other solo travelers on my trip too which was nice. Everything was stress free (I wouldn’t want to try to find parking in Sedona) and we got to hit up a ton of great spots. Detours is 100% the way to go if you want to see Sedona!

5.00Mike was my tour guide. We had an incredible day in Sedona! Mike is extremely knowledgeable, explained everything and answered all my questions. We saw all the amazing highlights, took magnificent photos and enjoyed the must-see and hidden gems of stunning Sedona. Having Mike as my tour guide was perfect! I hope to tour again with Mike and see more of the Southwest!
