In the heart of Stockport, an immersive experience awaits at the Gin School, where you’ll have the opportunity to craft your very own gin. Begin your journey with a welcome double gin and tonic, followed by a guided tour of the distillery. At your personal still, select from a variety of botanicals to create a unique gin recipe under the guidance of our expert distiller. While your gin distills, enjoy additional tastings of our full range, culminating in the bottling and labeling of your creation. This intimate session, limited to just six stills, ensures personalized attention and a memorable experience, complete with a final tasting of your handcrafted gin.

We will welcome you in with a double G&T and give you a full tour of our distiillery! We will then show you upstairs to the Gin School where you'll be seated at your very own still, ready for the real fun to begin! You'll be briefed on the process of making your own gin and then given the opportunity to select your own botanicals from the wide range available. Help will be on hand from our expert distiller to help with the selection process and once that is done, the distilling will begin. Whilst your gin is distilling, you'll enjoy another G&T as well as samples of our full range of gin whilst learning all about Stockport Gin and getting the chance to ask any questions you might have. Once the distilling process is over, you will then carefully blend your gin before bottling it in a 70cl bottle and labelling it, having given it a unique name. Finally, before heading home with your new creation, you'll get the chance to enjoy it as a perfectly served Gin and Tonic and share tasting notes with the rest of the group. You'll also get the chance to buy a bottle of your favourite Stockport Gin with an exclusive 10% discount on 70cl bottles!

5.00What a great experience! My oldest friend and I did this together and loved it. From the moment we arrived, it was such a warm, welcoming experience. Paul created a great atmosphere for us all of us to feel at home, chat and ask questions and sup some gorgeous gin! We had such giggle with the other couple there. We were all very chuffed with ourselves, all the gins we created were delicious 😄 We will be buying more of ours! A truly special experience & superb gift for my 50th! And we have our own gin to remember it by.

5.00An excellent way to spend a Sunday afternoon with a small group . Paul was an informative and helpful host, offering different gins from their range, and guiding us through the process of making our own bottle of gin. He gave plenty of information and advice but left us to make our own selection of botanicals to create our unique product. Thank you, Paul, for an unusual and interesting experience.

5.00A fantastic afternoon, very enjoyable and informative. Really enjoyed tasting the different gins including our own. Very well organised throughout, not rushed at all though. We were free to choose our own botanicals but advice was there if we wanted it. I couldn’t recommend the experience more. I was also very grateful to Paul for being so accommodating, allowing us to reschedule.

5.00Had a fantastic time on the gin tour at Stockport Gin. The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and there was plenty of gin to sample throughout the experience. The tour itself was very interesting and informative, giving a great insight into how the gin is made. Making your own gin was a brilliant experience, and being able to take a bottle home with you made it even more special. An added bonus is that you can continue to buy your own personalised gin afterwards. Highly recommend this tour to any gin lover!

5.00A Surprisingly interesting session. A very warm welcome, with a G & T and preview of what was to come. Then into the back room for an introduction to their distillation equipment past and present. Then up stairs for the main event, make your own bottle of gin created using your own random botanicals recipe. Easier than it sounds and great fun. Your gin may not be competition for their gins but its still very drinkable and about 44% proof and you take it home. Highly recommended.
