Upgrade to, SUMMIT Ascent tickets for the complete SUMMIT Experience plus access to SUMMIT’s most thrilling add-on! With Ascent, Guests will step into an all-glass exterior elevator that travels 12 stories up the side of One Vanderbilt, reaching the highest viewing point in Midtown Manhattan at 1,210 feet (364 meters.)
If Ascent is not operating on the day and time of your visit, you will still experience all 3 floors of SUMMIT and will receive a $24 refund for the Ascent portion of your ticket.

Dress appropriately to avoid unwanted exposure on glass and mirrored floors. We recommend wearing pants, shorts or tights when possible.
Wear comfortable shoes. Stiletto heels, steel toe boots, sports cleats and other footwear that can damage mirrored flooring are not permitted.
Outside food and beverage, smoking or e-cigarettes, large packages, suitcases, or weapons of any kind will not be permitted beyond the security checkpoint.
There is no storage for person items. Large bags, large backpacks and luggage are not permitted.
All SUMMIT tickets are timed. You MUST arrive at your scheduled time, which is indicated on your ticket. SUMMIT operates at full capacity. You might not be able to get in if arriving more than 20 minutes after the time indicated on your ticket. Any late arrival is subject to availability and possibly a fee
If your ticket includes the upgrade to Ascent, if it is not operating on the day and time of your visit, you will still experience all 3 floors of SUMMIT and will receive a $24 refund for the Ascent portion of your ticket.

4.00Booking is easy, rebooking is hard secondary to managers say conflicting things. One said to come 1 hour early then when we get there, they said 30 minutes early only. So much confusion and waste of time. Once you have bought your ticket, no help is available anymore.

4.00It was fun to watch the balls come down from the ceiling. Last time we visted NYC we went to the Edge. This time, The Summit. Worth going to one of the Tall buildings.
To spend a different night or afternoon, I recommend coming here to enjoy the beautiful views of New York.

4.00Fun and experience and great views of the city on a clear day. If you're very afraid of heights, be warned the mirrored floors take a bit of getting used to. Me and my daughter enjoyed it. We spent about an hour at Summit One
