5.00Had a fantastic experience at the Thai and Akha cooking school. The price was very reasonable and included a morning market tour where we sampled lots of exotic fruits and snacks. Although the experience lasted six hours it did not feel like a long session. The pace was perfect with plentiful short breaks. Our experience was a group of five people which was really personal and intimate. The team at the school were brilliant. They were funny, engaging and supportive. If anyone wants to learn more about Thai food, roll their sleeves up and dive in the this is the best place for you. Overall I would have rated this higher if I could and it has been a real value added addition to the holiday.

5.00Very well organized, if you can take the 8:30am class which includes the market visit. Well worth exploring with a local. Dishes are great with something for everyone. We traveled with kids and they were able to manage their own station without issue. Highly recommend!

5.00Wonderful experience cooking a traditional meal. Complete 11 course meal. Niti is great at instructing and helping each student keeping in mind their spice levels. A cookbook was given with recipes.

5.00This was one of the most fun things we did in Chiang Mai. We came with our family including kids ages 10-20 and everyone loved it, especially our 10 year old who could do everything herself. We started by going in to the local market which was so fun and then went to an amazing cooking facility. The guide and chef a was fun and so knowledgeable and everything was so organized and clean. She was also amazing at working around our schedule when we had last minute changes. Come hungry because it is so many dishes and so fun to try them all. We would definitely recommend for families, couples, friends or groups!
We walked the market and tried so many really interesting traditional Thai treats. After we went to the cooking school.
