Taste the best selection of daily street foods, such as ‘arancine’ (stuffed rice balls) and ‘panelle’ (chickpea fritters), as well as a glass of local wine, seasonal dessert (cannoli or ice cream) and other challenging samples like the renowned "pani ca' meusa" (veal offal sandwich). This tour is limited to 10 participants, ensuring you an open interaction with the tour guide, the local vendors and the other travelers. TO CRUISERS: the port of Messina town is far away from the city of Palermo, if you are docking in Messina, do not book this tour. We can't provide a refund if you realize this passed the deadline.

4.00On our cab ride from the airport to our hotel in Palermo, our driver highly recommended that we try Palermo’s delicious and authentic street food. So, we booked this tour. Our delightful guide, Simona, shared her love and appreciation for Palermo and its history, culture, and food specialities. The food and drink portions were generous and Simona made sure everyone’s needs were met. We had a great time! Our only concern was that the tour ended off the beaten path, which was part of the tour’s charm, but we were in an unfamiliar city with a language we did not speak and had to find our way back to our hotel in the dark.

5.00We enjoyed this tour in Palermo covering areas of the old town tasting food and understanding the history of the city. The tour was about 12 people in total and Alessendaro our guide was informative, fun and ensured we all enjoyed the tour, Would recommend

5.00Excellent street food tour. There was a lot of food! And Salvatore was really fun and provided a lot of historical info on the things we ate. The markets were really interesting and would recommend to get a bit outside the most touristy areas.

5.00Anyone who wants to learn original culinary skills in a humorous way off the beaten tourist path should definitely book this tour. We were served the best Arancini, Cazzilli, Sfincione, and Brioche con Gelatine thanks to Mari. We would have never discovered these hidden street food spots on our own.

5.00If you have seen the markets you may be concerned when starting the tour but the market location and the food were clean and incredibly tasty. Our tour guide “Salvo” was awesome and gave us a great history lesson while also providing some hilarious moments. All of the food was clean and I never had second thoughts about the sanitation around where we ate. If you want to try some good fried street foods but don’t wanna look by yourself this is most definitely the right tour!

5.00Absolutely loved this tour! Dario was an amazing guid. Funny, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about Palermo and Sicilian food. We tried some incredible local street food, learned a lot about the city, and discovered places we never would have found ourselves. It felt a bit like exploring Palermo with a local friend who knows all the best spots. 😋 Highly recommend to anyone visiting Palermo. Thanks Dario and Streaty for a wonderful experience! One tip: skip breakfast before going on the tour. You will thank me later.
