“Guide” was nothing more than a driver

2.00Our “guide” , Juan Diego, who took us to Teotihuacan and the Basilica of Guadalupe told us absolutely nothing about either of these sites. He never spoke to us unless we asked a question and then answered in very vague way and on more than one occasion gave us incorrect information. Whatever we learned at these two sites we learned by listening to other tour guides who came prepared with illustrations and talked for several minutes at each stop. Our “guide “ seemed fine with this and was not the least bit embarrassed that we were getting our information from other guides. Our guide was pleasant and a good driver, but nothing else. His English was not very good which might explain why he shared so little information. I will never book another tour with Viator.
