Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary is the nearest wildlife park to Guwahati city which has a high density of animals and birds specially the One horned Indian Rhino. Anyone who doesn't have time to visit Kaziranga National Park, can get a glimpse of the varied flora and fauna of the Assam in this wildlife park.

Visit Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, famous for having the highest density of One horned Rhino population. A two hrs jeep safari inside the park will enable one to see different types of animals and birds. The park has grasslands, wetlands, streams and rivulets apart from forests.

We had some extra time in Guwahati before taking the eving flight out from the city and so we took the Pobitora Wildlife safari tour in the morning. It was a wonderful experience as we saw rhinos up close and also wild buffalos. The lunch was good too with some local dishes...specially like the pork. The naturalist was a good spotted and showed us the birds as well.

With perfect weather and it being a monday, the tour was perfect! We saw so many rhinos and water buffalo, some really up close, too! Lots and lots of birds, and wild boar. It was a wonderful experience. My guide, Mr. Bipul Das, was very knowledgeable and very patient to point at an animal or bird until I could really see it. Loved every moment of it

Pobitora is so near to the city yet full of wildlife. We had a great time there. Avani organized the trip very professionally. The tour was comfortable and enjoyable.
