5.00It is very educational. We were picked up on time at our hotel. First stop BoKaap-Sefu explained the development of the area, discussed the Malay slaves and their culture. Second stop-Langa, a large township (aka shantytown) in Cape Town. The hour walking tour was led a local.guide who grew up and lives in Langa. His knowledge of its history and love for the community brought something to our experience. Last stop District 6 Museum. The Museum, in a former Methodist church, documents the history of District 6 (which was a multi-racisl community near Capr Town's CBD. It's a myst visit if you want to learn about soartheid.
