This is a unique and comprehensive look into the Amish way of life. You'll be getting access to several farms and properties that are not available to the public or on any other tour. Your guide's knowledge of the Amish is extensive and the access you will get is the result of our personal relationships with the Amish families.

Stop at the farm where the Academy Award winning movie "Witness" was filmed. You will have a chance to tour the beautiful Amish farm which remains much as it was in the movie, interact with their many animals and possibly meet the wonderful Amish family who owns the farm. This is a completely private stop and not available to the public. We will stop at a private and beautiful Amish home, where the kids make birdhouses. Witness Amish craftsmanship up close in the artisan stable and barn - and purchase a birdhouse if you like.

Dale was our guide. A native of the area, he shared the history and his personal knowledge of the Amish and Mennonite communities. Everywhere we stopped he had personal relationships with farm owners and their families. At the Amish farms we visited we met the owners and their families and toured their property. One farm was a creamery and in my mind was as good of not better than the Penn State creamery.

Highly recommend. Guide was a pleasure, had a great rapport with Amish families……several stops at farms, Amish creamery for ice cream stop. Excellent hx of Amish to Lancaster.

Dale, our tour guide, was very knowledgeable and provided us with a thorough understanding of the Amish way of life. We are so glad we took this tour during our stay in Lancaster. We had an excellent time and would highly recommend it to anyone wanting to learn moe about the Amish.

Dale was awesome! He is extremely knowledgeable of Amish culture & points of interest in the area. The 3 hours was jammed packed with info with lots of interesting stories!!

It turned out that we were the only people on this morning tour which was a major blessing. We had indepth conversations with our guide Mike. He was very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. We had a wonderful time.
