Step inside a world of murder, revenge, and true grit in a dramatic history of Victorian Gastown. This roving one-person play is led by a professional actor in character. Stories of deadly fire and smallpox emerge from the shadows as you venture through cobblestone streets to the shocking finale in this unique performance-theatre experience.

Our tours are designed for adult audiences and do contain some references to adult themes. Our age recommendation is 14+ but certainly children aged 10+ can attend and enjoy our walking tours if parents are comfortable with their children hearing mature subject matter.

5.00Brilliant tour with a fabulous storyteller. Was a great walking tour where we got to hear lots of strange tales of events from the past. Great way to spend an hour in the evening. Highly recommended.

5.00There were 10 in our group plus others and I was pleasantly suprised that we were all able to hear everything that was said. Our guide through history (Anne I think) was amazing, talented and very entertaining. Highly recommend this as a good night's entertainment, we all enjoyed it!

5.00We decided to do this walking tour while on a short stay in Vancouver but part of a longer trip to Canada. Zoe our tour guide was amazing. She was knowledgeable and engaging and really brought the history and people of Gas Town alive. Length of tour was just right and we thoroughly enjoyed it .
