2026 marks Wild Water's 35th season on the KICKING HORSE RIVER. We take great pride in providing first-class, top-notch rafting experiences for each and every guest. No detail is too small, nor any logistic too challenging. Whether it be complimentary top-of-the-line gear (cleaned and dried after every use), welcoming and extensive River Base amenities (such as heated, indoor change rooms), or our highly professional river rafting crew, Wild Water Adventures has it all.
Under the skillful control of the highly experienced Wild Water guides, rafts expertly maneuver past stunning scenery and through turbulent and challenging waves and rapids.

Join Wild Water Adventures on the famous Kicking Horse River for a true Rocky Mountain whitewater rafting experience. Famous for its waves and rapids, the Kicking Horse offers ‘mild to wild’ whitewater options. Satisfy any level of desired whitewater adventure with either our half-day or full-length trips. We are here to make your Kicking Horse adventure the best it possibly can be. Safety at Wild Water is our #1 priority. At the River Base (2750 Beaverfoot Rd, Golden BC), change into top-of-the-line provided gear and be shuttled to the river. After a thorough safety briefing, it is time to raft! Choose between fun-filled 1/2-day trips or longer full-length experiences. Families and the mildly adventurous will love the Gentle trip, a perfect introduction to whitewater rafting. Bigger & wilder waves are found on the Whitewater Exciter. The full-length Tradition maximizes time on the river and is the Gentle & Whitewater Exciter trips put together! Depending upon the trip of choice, on-river time ranges from 1 ½ to 2 ½ hours.** ** AGE & WEIGHT CRITERIA

5.00I definitely are going to get wet. A great stretch of river and beautiful glacier water. They do an outstanding job layering you up so you’re not cold. The guides know their stuff and are entertaining to boot.
You have to do this when you visit !

5.00This was an amazing experience from start to finish. The entire crew is so friendly and makes sure you’re informed every step of the way. The rafting trip itself was a lot of fun, intense at times. I would definitely recommend!

5.00The white water rafting was amazing and our guide Gavin was the absolute best! He provided reassuring instruction and was simultaneously funny and entertaining. He did all of this while handling the boat and navigating the river in a way that was very confidence inspiring. Our entire group had a blast!

5.00Whitewater rafting was one of highlights of our trip in Banff. We had so much fun with the perfect mix of exciting rapids and scenic stretches where we could take in the incredible surrounding. Our guide, Mr.Spencer was fantastic, friendly, energetic and made everyone feel comfortable while keeping the adventure going. All the staff were incredibly helpful and professional from start to finish. I would definitely recommend it!

5.00Absolutely amazing experience from the heated changed rooms to the ice cold mountain water. The guides now there stuff, its a once and a life time experience. Went for my best friends 39th birthday would totally do this again.

5.00This company was completely in control and buttoned up and may the entire experience easy and flawless. Even for novice or nervous first time, they got you. Our guide Landon could not have been better, he was calm and funny and kind, and exceedingly knowledgeable, and the perfect guide! We all had a blast, and even though we were reticent at times before we went, whether it was whether or lack of experience, we all have the best time, and no one fell out of the boat! Highly recommend them and if you can get him, it’s a bonus!

5.00What a blast! We went in early June and the water was perfect. Great rapids from start to finish. All the workers were super friendly and helpful. Our river guide was Gavin (the Scottish guy) and he was the best combination of professional, fun, hilarious…all the things.

5.00Omg so much fun. We were all screaming and laughing the entire time. Gavin was exceptional at keeping those vibes up and most of all keeping us in the boat. You gradually work up from Garde 1 to 4, giving you time to learn the ropes. Don't opt out! You'll 100% love it
