Meeting at your hotel or our office. Drive one and half hour (80km) to reach the Chiang Dao valley.

Chiang Dao

Arrive at the village, our adventure's starting point. We will embark on an easy 1.5-hour walk in the hills to reach another village. During the hike, we will provide insights into the culture, customs, and lifestyles of the villagers, as well as their origins. Once we finish, we will meet our vehicle and transfer to a restaurant for lunch.

Chiang Dao Cave

In the afternoon, we will explore the Chiang Dao caves and a nearby Buddhist sanctuary. The cave system consists of three chambers, and we will be guided through two of them using kerosene lights. For those who prefer not to enter the caves, we can visit the main chamber via an easy pathway. Subsequently, we'll hike up to a stunning viewpoint temple that is part of the Buddhist sanctuary.

Mae Taeng

Transfer by vehicle to the Mae Taeng valley and our hotel, Le Cocotier Resort, for overnight.

Mae Taeng

We will drive to the trek's starting point in the highlands above the Mae Taeng valley. Our trek will take us three hours along a jungle path, offering breathtaking views of the valley below and Doi Luang Chiang Dao. We will enjoy a lunch experience at a local home in the village. For those interested, an optional additional hour of hiking is available to reach the vehicle. Afterwards, we will have afternoon tea with a view of the jungle before transferring back to Chiang Mai city.
