Miradouro Da Senhora Do Monte
Viewpoint, Highest Point in the City, one of the viewpoints with the best view over Lisbon. former Hermitage of Nossa Senhora do Monte founded in 1147 and consecrated to Saint Gens, a bishop who, according to tradition, was martyred here. It was on this ancient Monte de São Gens that D. Afonso Henriques set up camp to conquer the city.
Panteao Nacional
The current temple is located on the site of a church built in 1568, by order of Infanta D. Maria, daughter of D. Manuel I, to receive the reliquary of the virgin martyr Engrácia of Zaragoza and on the occasion of the creation of the parish of Santa Engrácia. This ancient church was built on the site of a mid-12th century temple, but was severely damaged by a storm in 1681. The first stone of the current building was laid the following year, in 1682. The work lasted so long that it gave rise to to the popular expression "works of Santa Engrácia" to designate something that never ends. The church was only completed in 1966, 284 years after its beginning, by express determination of the government of the time

5.00We had Rodrigo take us around Graca, alfama, and Chiado! He was super friendly, gave us so much interesting history about Lisbon, and it was the best way to see so much of the city. Would 100% book again and recommend.

1.00We thought we'd discover the city quietly and we visited shops and churches, heard the story of Lisbon, got off at least 25x the tuk tuk. Priceless tour 120 euros for nothing...no interest

5.00Filipe was our tour guide he communicated really well with us , even offering to come and collect us . He tailored our tour to suit us and was knowledgable and informative about all the beautiful sights he took us too across this amazing city. His English was excellent and he was patient and really helpful , answering all our questions . We would highly recommend .

5.00We had a great time with Phillip touring around old Lisbon in a tuktuk. He was very courteous and knowledgeable about the history and architecture of the area. We were able to get off and explore the sites at our leisure and he even helped us with our luggage! What a great way to see the city!
