• Excellent optional tour for Monument valley

  Excellent tour. Good way to get away from the crowds. If you want to get up close to the pictographs and ruins this is a great option. You will see great rock formations but not as majestic as Monument valley, but if you have a high clearance vehicle (4 wheel helps but just skip the roughest stuff if you don’t) drive the Monument Valley with an audio tour and pay for the Mystery Valley. Our guide Will did a great job covering the relics, ruins and Navajo history.

  Sean Holiday was our tour guide for a private tour through Mystery Valley. Sean is extremely knowledgeable in all aspects of Navajo culture. He answered all of our questions and educated us on the Navajo people and their way of life. It was a real pleasure spending the morning with Sean. Listening to the sounds of Sean’s flute echo off the canyon walls was an unexpected pleasure and one we won’t soon forget!

  While other tours focus on landmarks, this excursion to beautiful Mystery Valley gave us deep insights into Anasazi and Navajo culture. Our exceptional guide Larson Homer took us to ancient dwellings to learn about everyday life and to ceremonial sites with haunting petroglyphs and pictographs. We also visited a natural auditorium for an etherial musical performance we will not soon forget. Gorgeous vistas everywhere. The tour was a highlight of our travels, and I highly recommend the experience.

  This was a small group tour and great fun. Our guide, Sean, was excellent. He was extremely knowledgeable about the area's culture, history, ruins and petroglyphs - essentially a one-man font of knowledge. He welcomed questions and offered interesting information on local flora and fauna. His sense of humour ensured he kept everyone engaged. Sean treated us to a fantastic tune on his flute while we enjoyed the majesty of one of the area's many arches. We appeared to have the area - Mystery Valley - to ourselves which added to our enjoyment of the tour.

  We did the Mystery Valley tour. Gary was our guide. The tour was incredible, very special indeed. You need to experience the tour to appreciate it. We would highly recommend this tour with Navajo Spirit Tours.

  Will Cowboy was an excellent guide. He is knowledgeable. The information he shared was very interesting and he was a lot of fun. The sites we saw were amazing. Highly recommend!

• Beautiful land of Navajo and history !!

  I am very happy that I found this tour!! Guide (who shares the same name with my son😊) showed deep knowledge about way of life how ancestries lived on this land. He also took our requests and show us what we wanted to see without missing. (including moki-steps 🥹) He drove us to multiple dwellings, granary and even Kiva! Of course we encountered tons of pictographs. not just showing but with deep explanation. This tour was very insightful, even beginner like us.   I had the most incredible day with Navajo Spirit Tours (I did a full-day tour, which included Monument Valley in the morning and Mystery Valley in the afternoon). Sariah was our guide and she was wonderful—her color and context on what we were seeing and the fact stories behind them really made the tour what it was. Monument Valley is stunning, but there was something especially beautiful about Mystery Valley. If you’re debating between only doing Monument Valley or doing both, definitely do both.   This was a really great experience. We took the all day combination Momument Valley and Mystery Valley tour. Our guide Gary took us to remote and spectacular locations, spoke of the history, geology, and Navajo mythology, took us to Anasazi ruins, and performed traditional music on flute drum and voice in natural rock amphitheaters. Taught us the Dine names of formations. And was a totally down to earth guy and open to and interested in lots of cultures and topics. Exceeded my expectations and very much worth the money.
