5.00I had such a great time on this tour with our guide, Salvo R. He was incredibly friendly, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. He shared fascinating information throughout the journey, and even from my seat in the back, I could see him smiling while he spoke. It's clear that he genuinely loves what he does and truly wants his guests to have a memorable experience. As for Mt. Etna, it was absolutely breathtaking. There was something special about being there and experiencing the energy of the volcano firsthand. Taormina was lovely as well, although quite touristy, so the two hours there felt like the perfect amount of time for me. I would definitely recommend this tour, and if you're lucky enough to have Salvo R. as your guide, you're in for a great experience!

5.00An excellent full day tour, with a marvellous english speaking guide Claudio, who looked after our group in a very kind manner, and made the whole trip very memorable especially with his comprehensive knowledge of Mt.Etna. With unpredictable stormy weather around we reached the crater rims to best advantage and photographic opportunities. Our day rounded off well with the 2 hours in Taormina. Well done Etna Tribe and Grazie mille to Claudio.

5.00We had a fantastic day exploring Catania, Mt. Etna, and the beautiful city of Taormina. We booked our guided day-trip with Etna Tribe—our guide, Simone Biuso, was knowledgeable, friendly, and enthusiastic, making the experience both enjoyable and memorable. Highly recommend!

5.00Spectacular 9-hour trip with just 6 others in our group. We hiked Etna, visited the Grotta dei Tre Livelli wearing helmets (thank goodness!) and carrying lamps, stopped at MYETNA for tastings of olive oils, pistachio Nutella, honeys, and liquors made of prickly pear, lemon, etc. as well as white and red wines. We had 2 hours of free time in Taormina for lunch and riding the Funivia. Alessio was a terrific guide through it all. 100% recommend!
The excursion was enchanting. The guide provided a wealth of information and demonstrated great professionalism.

5.00Our guide went out of her way to accommodate us and take care of special needs and keep us safe. Unfortunately she was losing her voice and she was a bit uncertain about her English (it was fine).
Full-day excursion ETNA adventure on quads + Taormina. Fun all day

5.00There were 4 of us, and we left from Catania on time in a minibus that also had 4 more people. Salvo was constantly providing information in Spanish and then in English for the other people. An easy journey of 1 hour to the parking lot at the base of ETNA. There, Salvo told us that we could either hire a cable car to go higher, take a 4x4 vehicle, or stay and do a 3-hour trekking excursion with him. We found the cable car and vehicle too expensive. We opted to book a 2-hour quad excursion. It was very fun through the forest and lava parts where they showed us a cave. Recommended if you do not want to go trekking. Afterward, they take you to do a small wine tasting with cheese and jam tastings at a small restaurant. In our opinion, the tasting was a bit short, but the people and products were very good. If you wanted, you could stay for lunch. The food was very good and reasonably priced, like everything in Sicily. You continue by car for 1 hour to Taormina. They give you 2 hours just to see the main street and take photos. It is too short if you want to see the theater and the town. You have to choose between one thing or the other. We chose to see the town. Very beautiful, clean, luxurious but too touristy. On the way back, it is a 1-hour ride by vehicle to Catania. Recommended if you want to do a package excursion to Etna with adventure, and Taormina from Catania. A complete and perfect day!!! The agency that organizes it is ETNA TRIBE. Perfect!!! Salvo R. is a charm, a true professional. A 10 out of 10 for the guide.
