Silfra fissure is one of the top dive sites in the world, situated in Thingvellir National Park, only about 50 kilometers from Reykjavik. You can either head to the Sky Lagoon after the tour or move your reservation for another time and day that suits your travel plans best!

Please note that that dry suits can sometimes feel quite tight and constricting, especially around the neck and wrists
Minimum age is 12 years, please reach out regarding younger participants & Participants over the age of 65 need to get a physicians approval.
Be at minimum 150cm (4’9) tall / maximum 200cm (6’7) tall, and be at minimum 50kg (99 lbs) / maximum 120kg (264 lbs)
Don't wear glasses, instead bring contact lenses or your own prescription mask (if you have one)
Recommended to bring a change of clothes (the drysuit has a very small chance of leaking)
We recommend wearing long thermal underwear and thick wool socks a a base layer under the drysuit
All participants heights, weights and age must be provided to local operator. If you do not provide at time of booking, please contact supplier immediately after booking to provide this information
All participants will need to fill out a medical form before participating in the tour. Please find a link to the medical statement on your ticket voucher right after booking the experience to be sure if you qualify.
Please dress according to weather - no heals or jeans
Note: Each guide can assist one group of up to six participants at a time. Up to three different groups can be present during this activity.

5.00We truly enjoyed both the snorkel and the lagoon. I am someone who hates being cold, but found the snorkel to be enjoyable. Dory was our guide and was very knowledgeable and took the time to ensure we were prepared for the snorkel. The lagoon was beautiful and the 7 step ritual was well worth the experience. Would recommend this combo to anyone!

5.00I wasn't sure what to expect. But the snorkel guide... im sorry I forgot his name but he was from Turkey... was excellent. He explained things carefully and clearly. As a scuba diver I was a bit disappointed my timing meant I couldn't dive because I was flying out that day and honestly? It was so beautiful I cried in the water. My guide said the diving aspect didn't add much more, just weight... and I think he was right. 10/10. My only regret was i didnt have cash for a tip. The sky lagoon visit was the perfect compliment. It was a fantastic experience and the location was completely flexible for an earlier time to come in.

5.00A brilliant two part experience. Thanks to Ignis our snorkelling guide, and looked after us brilliantly. A unique experience, with stunningly clear water, and other than some cold hands we stayed warm and dry. Finishing the day with a beautiful evening at the Sky Lagoon

5.00This was such a great experience. First, our guide, Ines, was absolutely wonderful! They provide a wetsuit, drysuit, gloves, hat….and she worked to ensure each piece was on and fitted to ensure we did not get wet during this experience. She was patient and very friendly! The sky lagoon was absolutely wonderful! Felt like a luxury spa going thru the 7 steps and we loved the view…..just beautiful!!

5.00This was a wonderful experience. I thought I would freeze but I wore warm clothes (snug fitting 2 layers) under the wet and dry suits and felt fine other than my face being cold. Ines was an excellent guide. She explained things well and made it fun!

5.00Snorkeling in the Silfa Fissure is a once in a lifetime experience! It was such a highlight in our Iceland trip. Alex, our guide, has been very thorough and helpful during the entire experience. I was nervous at first but, he took such good care of us and made sure we had fun! Thank you again so much and higgly recommend this tour and guide!

5.00I have a blast. I recommand the combo. It's way less expensive. Sulfra is a must. I'm glad to choose Adventure Vikings. It's a smaller company, but the size of the groups is also smaller. It means that we have more space to swim and that we can have more personnal interactions with our guide. Ines is a bubbly guide. She makes sure everyone feels comfortable and swim safely. Very funny. I recommand her. After feeling cold. You have to experience the Sky Lagoon and to feel hot. Very beautiful spa and love the nordic icelandic ritual.
