With exclusive access you will enter the Colosseum through the Gladiator’s Gate, walking directly onto the arena floor. Experience the grandeur of the arena from a unique perspective, as you stand where the gladiators once stood, when they walked out to the sounds of thousands of yelling spectators.
Your licensed tour guide will bring to life the exciting and shocking events that took place where you now stand. Enjoy an up-close view of the underground chambers exposed below, wander through the vast corridors, and climb the ancient stone stairs of this magnificent amphitheater, as you learn of its rich history.

Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers' full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.

Please arrive 15 minutes before the start time of the tour
• Refunds will not be provided for no-shows or late arrivals. If you are late to the meeting point, you will not be able to join your tour.
• Toilets are limited, use the toilet before arriving for the tour. (Breaks made when possible)
• No weapons (pocket knives), glass bottles or large backpacks
• Tours will run rain or shine (unless closed for safety reasons)
There are mandatory security checks al all entry points to the sites. The wait time time for the security check can be considerable during peak times/seasons and has nothing to do with the ticket line
The names provided at the time of the booking cannot be changed.
The itinerary may vary, the tour may start at either the Colosseum or the Roman Forum.

2.00They canceled part of tje tour after I booked it. It was the colosseum floor portion. There were tour guides in the colosseum. They gave us some lame excuses about how the tour guides were not allowed on the floor. They said they were going to refund a portion of my cost but I have seen nothing.

3.00Unfortunately, our tour guide was not very informative and often seemed confused. We were even waiting in the wrong line and ended up being sent back from Palatine Hill. Overall, I wish we had skipped the guided tour and explored on our own with an audio guide.

1.00The tour guide was excellent. However we were informed the day before the tour that the guide is “not allowed” inside the coliseum and we will get a small credit for that portion. Once inside the coliseum there were PLENY of guides and tours. We didn’t get a refund. We got a credit we will never use. The guide was the only amazing thing she was knowledgeable and funny.
A mediocre tour, with a lot of filler.

3.00Firstly the guides English wasn't the greatest, with many nonsensical words, she also spoke in a monotonous single level, rushing through everything. It became boring quite quickly, lucky the headphones we where given, stopped working so I didn't have to continue with the commentary. The tour was advertised as small groups of less than 10, our group was 12. I had taken my in laws on holiday, and they were both in their 80s. We lost the guide at one point as they couldn't keep up with her pace. The first two hours just felt like she was filling time till our slot at the collosum. Overall disappointing tour, but great to see the collosum, and to skip the que. Don't know if that was worth the price

2.00The title of this tour is a little bit misleading. The only portion of the tour that is guided is the Palatine Hill. If you are looking for a guided Colosseum tour, this is NOT it. Once we reached the Colosseum, the guide released us to go in and look around on our own, but we had no guide inside. You would be better to book a guided colosseum tour or just pay the colosseum only ticket. I would not waste money on this tour. Largely, people are there to see the Colosseum, and want a guided experience inside.

4.00The tour guide was very knowledgeable with his history which was great. Sadly he wasn’t able to go into the coliseum with us to finish the tour.
