Antelope Canyon
This tour includes BOTH a visit to the amazing “Secret Antelope” Canyon and the breathtaking Horseshoe Bend Overlook. Secret Antelope Canyon is part of the Lake Powell, Antelope Canyon system and is still an undiscovered gem with group sizes that are limited to just a fraction of Upper and Lower Antelope Canyons. It begins with boarding a shaded, open-air, 4x4 tour truck or an enclosed van based on availbility, and taking a short three-mile drive from Page, AZ on Highway 89. From here, you will exit the highway and enjoy a thrilling six-mile off-road adventure drive through sandy washes, rolling hills to arrive south of Lake Powell in Antelope Canyon. There you will enjoy a 300-meter nature walk to the entrance of one of the longest slot canyons to be toured on the Navajo Nation. You will have up to an hour to photograph and meander through the slot canyon and back out to the vehicle for the return ride back to the Horseshoe Bend Overlook on Navajo land.
Horseshoe Bend
We will avoid the congested public parking lot for the Overlook, and will take a private dirt road which leads to within 100 meters of the edge of the canyon. From here, you will have a much shorter walk to the rim and from there be able to stroll along the side of a 1000 foot drop. The undulating sandstone provides various angles and views of the Colorado River as it meanders around a rock promontory, creating the Horseshoe Bend loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. This portion of the tour lasts approximately an hour and allows for phenomenal picture taking. From here, we will return to our office near Antelope slot canyon in Page, AZ.

5.00The tour guide, Kenny was knowledgeable, patient and fun. This experience is well worth it. Not too long of a tour. Just the right amount of time to cover both Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend.

5.00Walking in the door to super friendly staff, I knew our tour would be great. Malcom, our tour guide, was full of information about the history, landscape and geology of the Antelope Canyon. My favorite part was him sharing his personal stories of growing up Navajo on a reservation. His sense of humor made us laugh. Taking the “secret” tour meant a tour without tourists beyond our group of 7. We were able to enjoy the landscape and take pictures without others in the background. It was an unforgettable adventure.

5.00We thoroughly enjoyed our tour to Secret Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. The drive out to the canyon was so beautiful. Our guide, Malcolm, gave a great demonstration of how the slot canyons were formed. He was also very friendly and willing to answer any questions we had. It was a wonderful experience walking thru the canyons. Horseshoe Bend was also incredible. My mom (74 years old) was on the tour with us and was able to walk it fairly easily. It was a highlight of our trip and highly recommend.

3.00Wonderful exclusivity to both areas vs. other tours that have numerous visitors at the same time at public areas. I would have rated this a 5 star if not for our guide Gail. The tour stated with her giving us the "rules" of the canyon in a very terse manner. She never suggested we stay close to her to enable her to share her wisdom about the canyon. We then started towards the canyon and her pace was incredibly slow as well she took 5 minutes to talk to the park ranger at the entrance so the other couple and us (4 in group) proceeded to the canyon on our own. From there she never asked us to slow down nor did she try and catch up. The canyon was wonderful. Both couples took turns helping each other out with pics of each other. Both couples entire journey through the canyon had minimal sight or contact with Gail. She did have time to talk to other tour colleagues as we passed her by on our way out of the canyon. Here is the kicker, when we got back to the 4x4 she proceeded to scold us all telling us that our visit was one of her shorted ever since we didn't wait for her and that this was a "guided tour" not self guided. We then proceed to horseshoe bend and had another self guided tour since she did not bother to accompany us 4 to the observation deck. She did take a pic of the same ranger's vehicle ( from canyon again) and then proceeded to talk to him the entire time.

5.00This was an excellent tour. Our group was the only group in the canyon, and we had plenty of time to enjoy and take photos. Kennie was our guide, and she was wonderful. She took time to help everyone in the group get the best photos, and she shared insights into the Navajo culture. I highly recommend this tour.

5.00The scenery was breathtaking, and the peaceful, serene setting allowed us to fully appreciate the beauty of the area. What truly made the experience exceptional was our guide, Two Feathers. His knowledge, passion, and willingness to share insights about the landscape, history, and culture brought everything to life. If your travels take you anywhere near Page, Arizona, do not miss this experience. I highly recommend it and would gladly do it again!
