Gilligans' Island Luau is an intimate luau experience and is the only luau in Kihei on Maui.
Our luau is less than one quarter the size of the average luau in Hawaii. So, every seat is a great view of the show.

Maui Luau: Gilligans' Island Luau in Kihei
Experience an Authentic Polynesian Luau in Kihei on the Island of Maui. Come see the traditional Polynesian evolution of Hawaiian, New Zealand, Tahitian Hula Dancers with a Samoan Fire Dancer finale. Show includes Hawaiian Musicians & Drummer and more! In an intimate setting with less than 1/3rd the capacity of most luaus, come have a great time experiencing the culture outside of a resort environment. Includes an open bar with tropical well drinks, red or white house wine, beer and all non-alcoholic beverage. Enjoy a full Hawaiian all you can eat buffet with Hawaiian Kalua Pork, Teriyaki Chicken, Panko-crusted Mahi Mahi with Lemon dill cream sauce, Hummus with vegetable crudites, Lomi Lomi Salmon, Mixed Vegetables, Mac Salad, Poi, White Rice, Molokai Sweet Potato, Green Salad w/Pineapple Vinaigrette dressing and Hawaiian Sweet Rolls with honey butter. For dessert, try Fresh Pineapple cubes, Chocolate Haupia Pie, White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies, and Lilikoi Bars.

5.00We had a beautiful evening at the Gilligan’s Island Luau. The venue had beautiful views and the dinner was delicious. The performances were very much what I wanted/expected.

1.00Can cancel on you at one hour before you arrive. Says it was increment weather. But everywhere we went was good. Maybe they cancelled because not enough people at Luau. We then called Viator and 'they' refunded our money. Then they asked us about what ship we were on. Then they told us there was another Luau we could go to three days later on Kauai (since they knew our ship goes to their schedule port every week. We said great we'll take. We did. That was on Tuesday June 16, 2026. On Thursday we realized everyone has to be back on ship at 5 pm. The Luau meeting point was at 3:30 pm. Of course we could not make the Luau. We called 22 hours before the Luau having to cancel. We called Viator to process getting our money back but they said that the tour operator said too bad. We trying to find a way of getting back our $600. We think this is an injustice that if we went to court we would win. We are looking into small claims court or something that doesn't cost more than we will loose. And if we don't get resolve we will be telling everyone about Viator and of course we can no longer use them if we are satisfied. we have used Viator for many years and deserve better than this. If the tour operator needs more mouths to feed, be prepared foe a cancellation or even worse go thru what we have had to go thru.

5.00This was a great Luau. Affordable and Food and entertainment was very good. Loved our MC. There were 10 in our group and we ended up getting upgraded to VIP so we were real close to the stage. It was only 2 hours which was perfect for our littles. I would definitely recommend it.🌴🤙

5.00It was very good. Dinner was nice. Great food. Dancers were wonderful and everybody was very pleasant and happy. The musicians were amazing! Seriously. You won’t believe you’re listening to live music. I’m a musician so maybe specific to me, but that is what stood out. “Wow” quality music. Beautiful costumes and just overall nice experience. Very expensive, but what isn’t a rip off in Hawaii?

5.00The price is cheaper than many other luaus in the area, but don’t think you’re going to sacrifice quality. This was fantastic. Located in a golf clubhouse, this luau provides an unmatched intimacy. There is plenty of delicious food and drink and even the worst seats have a great view of the stage. There is live music for the vast majority of the event, and the main stage show includes plenty of laughs and even more costume changes. Easily one of the best outings I did during my time in Maui.
