This private scenic tour combines the best of Oslo attractions and the beautiful scenic area of Tyrifjord and Jevnaker. The main attraction of the tour is the Kistefos Museum and Gallery. We'll do a guided tour through the outdoor sculpture park and of course the highlight "The Twist" . This is a spectacular "twisted" building or bridge across the river containing modern art.

The Twist is listed in New Your times as nr 21 out of 50 of "things to see" in 2020.

For a light lunch (cake/coffee) either at Kistefos or when returning the Kleivstua Restaurant close to the Queens View.

In Oslo we recommend to focus on the famous Vigeland Sculpture Park. However, since this is a private tour, guests can choose and we tailormake.

Entrance to one museum is included in the tour price.

Kistefos Museum

Note: 1 hour drive each direction from Oslo. We take you to the scenic area of Tyrifjord and Jevnaker. The main attraction is the Kistefos museum and sculpture park. Note that the new gallery building "The Twist" was listed in New York Times – 52 Places to go in 2020, number 21.

Fram Museum

Polar exploration was important in late 1800 and early 1900. There was a race to conquer the North pole and the South pole. In the Polar Museum you find the two authentic polar ships Fram (-forward) and Gjøa. Rewarded "The best museum in Norway". The most impressive is that we can enter the original 130 years old ship and get the polar feeling forced onto us by the multimedla film above us showing the combined drama of sea, wind, ice bergs and northern light.

Janick is very knowlegeable, and she tooka us to differnt places we need to go. I wanted to go to Holocost museum and she took us there too.

What an experience!!! Our guide was knowledgeable, flexible, and savvy. We experienced the Ekeberg Sculpture Park View, the Viking Planet virtual experience, the Holmenkollen ski Jump Tower & Ski Simulator, the Vigeland Sculpture park, the Folk Open Air Museum including the Gol Stave church with an amazing native guide and also the old 17- century farms of Norway. And at Last the Polar history end experience in the Fram 130 years old Polar ship used by Fritjof Nansen (North Pole 3 years attempt) and the Roald Amundsen (south pole December 1911). The kicker is that we are heading to the Arctic the next day so he knew we needed to visit. Highly recommend.
