Not to be missed! Lagos Grotto Trips takes you to see the Benagil caves, located between Praia do Carvoeiro and Armação de Pêra and placed on the top 10 list of the most famous caves in Europe!
We leave Lagos Marina, passing by Alvor, Portimão and Carvoeiro, enjoying the view of beautiful beaches and the Algarve coastline. We will first visit the caves of Carvoeiro and finally, the most famous caves of the world - Algar de Benagil.
The caves are truly amazing with its clear water and rock formations of unparalleled beauty, an experience that will create memories for life!
Our trip takes place in a completely new 18-seater rigid inflatable boat (RIB) on padded benches providing genuine comfort during the trip.
All of our tours are led by experienced guides who offer a very personalized service as each one of our clients is important to us and our company.

5.00Great way to see the caves. Two hours was perfect. Enjoyed the saddle-style seating as bench seating would be challenging with waves.

5.00This excursion was an absolute blast! Our guide was a comedian, we stopped to see many more caves and caverns than we expected, and the ride was smooth and thrilling despite the wind and choppy seas.

5.00We had a great time exploring the caves of Benagil and the surrounding area! This experience lasted about 2 hours and was with a full boat of about 15 people. Our guides Luis and Hugo took us on a great adventure getting right inside of the incredible rock formations on the coast. They were incredibly knowledgeable about the area. This was definitely an unforgettable experience and a great way to start our day

5.00We had the best experience on the Lagos Grotto Trips boat tour today!! Highlight of our trip. We were on the 2pm 6/19 boat tour and everything about it was amazing. The staff were so kind, helpful, and funny. The commentary was really interesting and my friend and I felt very comfortable on the boat. The caves we saw were AMAZING and there was even time for some dolphin watching. We saw 3 dolphins super close up and it was so special. Again cannot stress how worth it this boat tour was and for such a reasonable price. Boat was very safe and we stayed dry the whole time. The staff also allowed us enough time to appreciate all the caves/beaches/viewpoints and we didn’t feel rushed at all. 10/10 experience!! Definitely recommend.
