Superb and unique adventure through the most beautiful parks in Sicily starting from Cefalù towards the Etna volcano passing through the Madonie park to reach the largest park in Sicily "the Nebrodi" where we will make a coffee break in a high mountain refuge. Via mixed roads off-road we will cross the Nebrodi park to reach the Alcantara river park with a visit to the Byzantine Cuba. Arrived at the foot of Etna we will have a picnic lunch with typical local products in a quiet equipped area in the middle of nature. Reached slowly Provence, North Etna, our trekking route will begin along the craters of Monte Nero with various stops at panoramic points. Return to Cefalù in the evening.

Have breakfast before you go, you will need to take walking shoes and a fleece as it can get cold at the base of Etna. Our guide was very informative, friendly and knowledgeable, lunch in a pine forest was especially good as was the experience of seeing Etna up close. Be prepared for a long but enjoyable day.

We had a wonderful time on this personalised trip from Cefalu to Etna, stopping in beautiful Nebrodi Park. Emanuale is a fantastic guide and had plenty of stories to make the trip truly memorable. We finished the trip with a picnic and amazing local food. Highly recommend!

It was a wonderful experience driving trough all these national parks and finally standing seeing and being on Mount Aetna. Emanuelle was very friendly and a careful driver. Grazie!

This trip allows you to see a lot of northeast Sicilys nature, with a beautiful drive up the coast and mountains to mount Etna. Stops at beautiful locations for coffee break, and a gorgeous picnic in woods with delicious typical Sicilian lunch. Emanuele was informative and great company for 8 hour drive. Wear hiking boots if possible for Mount Etna walk.

Emanuele was an amazing guide and driver! We got to see Sicily away from the coast . We loved the beauty and the peacefulness of the Nebrodi park with sightings of the wild boar and the possibility of sighting eagles. Etna was very interesting . The volcano made some gentle rumbles when we arrived! The trek up to one of the newest craters past the solidified lava river was fascinating. We had our picnic stop in a beautiful forest clearing . Picnic curtesy of Emanuele was delicious . Local cheese and cold meats and a very tasty homemade caponata! Also his own olive oil and tasty red wine. We highly recommend this tour.
