Cu Chi Tunnels
Tour stars approximately at 7:30AM to 7:00PM - This full-day tour takes you from Ho Chi Minh city to two popular attractions: Cu Chi Tunnels, and the Mekong Delta. Around 7:30am. Get picked up from your hotel in the center of Ho Chi Minh city and head to Cu Chi Tunnels. After 1.5 hours ride, we arrive at the tunnels where you will get a chance to learn about the fascinating history and significance of the tunnels during the Vietnam War. You will have the opportunity to crawl distances of the tunnels, try your hand at the shooting range, and witness the intricate network of underground tunnels and traps that played a significant role in the war. After exploring the tunnels, we'll head to a local restaurant for lunch to try some of the delicious local Vietnamese cuisine (vegan food available).
My Tho
After lunch, we'll head to My Tho - the heart of the Mekong Delta region. You'll get a glimpse into the daily life of the locals as we take a boat ride down the Mekong River, where you can enjoy the picturesque scenery of the surrounding countryside. We will then take a sampan ride through the small waterways with coconut palms line both sides, where you can experience the rural lifestyle, stop by the bee house to enjoy some local fruits and honey tea, listen to a live local music performance performed by the villagers. We'll wrap up our day and head back to Ho Chi Minh City in the afternoon and be taken back to your hotel. This is a unique opportunity to experience some of the best Southern Vietnam has to offer, with a mix of history, culture, and natural beauty all in one day.

5.00We had the best day with your guide Lockie! He was so caring with us, and he taught us so much about the area as well as things along the way to the main stops. Lockie even took photos for us throughout the day, learnt our names; and sung and played the harmonica for some extra entertainment on the way! We had such a fun time.

5.00A highlight from my time in Saigon! I was lucky to have Jenny as my driver and guide, she was very friendly , funny and I always felt safe . You get to visit some really interesting local, grittier areas you might not usually come to on your own , and all the food was delicious. All the guides were so informative, friendly and really took care of you, definitely recommend this experience especially as a solo traveller !!

4.00The Cu Chi Tunnels and Mekong Delta tour was a great experience to see the more rural side of Vietnam during my stay in Ho Chi Minh City. This tour takes up the whole day, and there's a lot of walking. I highly recommend wearing light and loose clothing because the heat and humidity will drench you in sweat. The lunch at the Bamboo Restaurant was good and fullfilling. Though I didn't enjoy the fruit platter and honey tea tasting in the Mekong Delta. But that's a personal opinion based on taste. The sampan boat ride was a fun experience and I greatly admire the physical endurance of the sampan rowers, most of whom are elderly. I do recommend giving a tip at the end. Our tour guide (Phuc?) was knowledgeable and made sure we didn't get lost going from place to place. I highly recommend doing a cultural tour when visiting HCMC.

5.00The day was filled, but didn’t feel exhausting. Benji was the perfect guide: kind, knowledgeable and funny. I highly recommend him! We did the 12 person max tour and it was nice to have a small group.

5.00Brilliant tour with super tour guide - Khoa, full of history and lots of added extras. We had a brilliant tour with Khoa, how he told the history of the Vietnam war was easy to understand and helped us understand the context of the tunnels better. He was very helpful and gave us lots of recommendations!

5.00Great full-day experience visiting the Cu Chi Tunnel and Mekong Delta. Everything was well organized and smooth from the pick up at the hotel to the many activities. Expect a few hours of bus drive between locations but the local guide was very entertaining and helpful.

5.00Funniest David you will ever meet. Defintly worth the money for this tour. You got to experience so much in so little time. Tunnels, candy, honey, chocolate, wine, river ride. Book!
