A medium level of mobility is required to join this tour. The coach used has several steps on entry and passengers will board and disembark the vehicle several times throughout the day. The guided walks at Mossman Gorge and Cape Tribulation Beach are both considered easy grade and under 1klm return in distance.

5.00Super impressed with our guide, Adrian Hazel. Incredible story teller, professional, and his attitude was unflappably engaging and enthusiastic through a full nine hours. His knowledge of the area -- its flora, fauna, and history -- is truly impressive. The itinerary is very relaxing and chill. Very easy and short walks, suitable for all ages. Maybe not the most exciting tour, the boat cruise looking for crocodiles notwithstanding, and it was packaged well and smoothly executed. Our lunch meal was also quite tasty and fresh, remarkable given the location in the middle of the rainforest. I think the tour is ideal for seniors and tourists looking for a chill excursion.

5.00Daniel made the entire trip an outstanding experience. He has set the bar extremely high for tour guides. He has to have a PHD in Botany as well as a masters in Australian History. He made the entire day of driving a pleasure with his knowledge and humor

5.00We had a really informative tour of Daintree & Cape Tribulation. It turns out there are dangerous plants and critters around, and I'm glad we had a guide to point them out! No worries - we were completely safe the whole time. It was a long day and the agenda was packed. Breaks for tea, lunch, and ice cream were nice. The food was all very good and in beautiful settings. The ice cream store has delicious non-dairy options if you need, and you can buy Daintree Tea there for a much better price than in town. Another benefit of going on a tour is meeting people from all over. We had a small group, which was nice. I highly recommend this tour versus trying to do it on your own.

4.00A great day! Full itinerary making sure you get to all the sights. Great guide with loads of local knowledge and stories. Would have liked to have a little more free time at some of the stops, but appreciate this tour had a packed itinerary.
Great way to experience the Daintree and beaches

5.00We did this tour on our recent trip to Cairns and it was awesome! Reece was an amazing tour guide, very friendly and had a lot of local knowledge (and jokes) about the region. There are a bunch of highlight stops so you see a lot of different aspects of the area including Daintree rainforest walks, Cape tribulation, Mossman Gorge and lookout spots plus some quick views of Palm Cove and Port Douglas. There is also a river cruise where we spotted crocodiles and got to see a lot of blue Ulysses butterflies while we were waiting for the boat. We were also fortunate enough to see a cassowary which was a definite highlight of the day. It was a long day but we felt that was a huge positive because we really got our money’s worth and it was super easy with hotel pick up and drop off. 10/10 recommend.

5.00The Tour was absolutely AMAZING!!! Scott our guide made the experience so much better. His knowledge and stories were awesome. We learnt a lot honestly. Everything about the tour was excellent. Definitely recommend if you’d like to see the Daintree and Mosman Gorge in style…travel with Down Under Tours. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
